Victoria Principal could be set to make a shock return to legendary drama series Dallas after stars Patrick Duffy and Jesse Metcalfe let slip producers want her in the show's upcoming reboot.

The upcoming reboot of TV hit Dallas will feature a full reunion of the surviving original characters after Charlene Tilton and Steve Kanaly signed up to the show.

Bosses at TNT network are re-launching the legendary drama series later this year and they persuaded stars Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick Duffy to reprise their roles as members of the Ewing family.

Beloved soap "Dallas" is to be updated for the small screen after efforts to turn the project into a major movie failed.

John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez were both attached to the film project, but now the entire idea has been scrapped - and instead, "Dallas" will be heading back to TV.

Dallas star Victoria Principal is set to be the first female tourist in space.

The actress has reportedly splashed out $265,000 to be rocketed 70 miles above Earth when Sir Richard Branson launches commercial space flights in 2008.

The stunning actress is among 120 people who've paid for a seat on the two-and-a-half hour flight, according to Daily Mirror newspaper. Victoria isn't the first celebrity to express an interest in space travel. Earlier this year it was revealed Hollywood heavyweight Tom Hanks was
