The first trailer for the movie adaptation of Pulitzer-winning thriller Gone Girl is here.

The film follows a man played by Ben Affleck struggling in the wake of his wife's disappearance as the media circus descends around him and begins to question whether he was behind it.

Set to a haunting soundtrack created by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (who worked with director David Fincher on Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network), Affleck's Nick Dunne looks both guilty and innocent as he eyes the crime scene and flashes of a violent past are shown.

British actress Rosamund Pike has cemented her style credentials by designing a handbag collection.

The former Bond girl has teamed with fashion brand L.K. Bennett for the range, which features three purses in a variety of colours.

Pike tells, "I feel incredibly nervous about it. It's something that I've created and I've put my taste on show, my preferences. I've put a lot of thought into it. I wanted to give people who can't afford designer bags a taste of that quality for half the price, but still maintain a high level of luxury."

The line officially launches on July 17.

Rosamund Pike has joined the May mom's club after giving birth to a son.

The star has given her baby boy the unusual name Solo, according to Britain's Daily Mail on Sunday.

The tot is Pike's first child with 49-year-old businessman Robie Uniacke, her partner since December, 2009.

The actress joins fellow new mums Jessica Simpson, actresses Mira Sorvino and Marley Shelton, as well as British star Stacey Solomon, who have all welcomed new arrivals this month.

Former Bond girl Rosamund Pike is to become a mother for the first time.

The 33-year-old British actress is expecting a baby with her partner Robie Uniacke, who she has been dating since December 2009.

A source tells the Britain's Mail on Sunday, "Rosamund doesn't look it but is seven months pregnant and she is glowing. She is looking forward to the baby in the spring.

"They are talking about getting a family home when the baby is born, although marriage isn't on the cards.

Fracture star Rosamund Pike might be in need of a superspy of her own - to figure out who's stealing her phones. The actress' handbag, containing her mobile and purse, was stolen at the BAFTA Film Awards in 2007, and she recently became the victim of another phone theft.

The latest incident came after 18 months of bad luck for the actress: "I had a fire in my apartment... and I was burgled the year before, so I've got used to owning things for a little while and then tending to part (with them). I was in London recently and had my phone stolen again."

Period drama Pride and Prejudice and thriller The Constant Gardener are leading the nominations at next year's London Film Critics' Circle Awards. The adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel has received eight nods, including Best British Actress for Keira Knightley.
