Missy Peregrym Talks Changes Ahead in Season 4 of 'Rookie Blue'
TV's most entertaining cop drama is back! ABC starts airing the fourth season of Rookie Blue tonight, picking up not far from where it left the characters of 15 Division last summer. BFTV caught up with series star Missy Peregrym, who plays Officer Andy McNally, to ask how Andy has been since viewers saw her departing for an undercover operation, and if there's hope that Andy might get back together with ex-flame Sam Swarek.
When the audience reconnects with Andy in tonight's episode, "I think she feels pretty good about where she's at in her life," Missy told us. "She's been undercover fo...

10 Great TV Shows You're Not Watching
This is my viewpoint, from the far end of the couch...and this week Starpulse has asked me to give you 10 outstanding TV shows that you're not yet loving, but you will.
With so many channels it's no wonder that a lot of great shows either slip through the cracks or don't get as much attention as they deserve. To help you find the series you might not know, I've compiled this handy list of programs you can check out right now.
My only criteria? They must be currently airing and able for you to tune into right now, be it first-run or repeats. (Therefore, cancelled shows are not eliglible, a...

Missy Peregrym: Still Proud To Be 'Rookie Blue'
In just over a week (June 23), ABC's Canadian import Rookie Blue returns for its second season - so it's also the perfect time to get the dish from Missy Peregrym, who leads the cast as would-be supercop Andy McNally. Missy dropped by recently to talk about where Andy is headed in season two, the impact the role has had on her life, and who her heroes are.
You can also check out my recent interview with Missy's Rookie Blue costar Enuka Okuma.
The rookies now have their first year under their belts - so what will be happening with Andy in season two, now that she's no longer technic...

Casting Call: Who Should Be The 'New Wonder Woman'
Any time a movie or TV comic book adaptation is announced, the internet becomes instantly abuzz with casting ideas, and when it comes to a character as iconic as Princess Diana of Themiscyra, those opinions are STRONG!
David E. Kelley’s new "Wonder Woman" show (presumably designed to fill the gap Clark Kent will leave when he finally becomes Superman at the end of this final season of "Smallville") is the latest attempt to bring live action resurrection to comics’ pre-eminent superheroine. So who can fill the red and white boots so memorably worn by Lynda Carter in the 1970s? Here are a fe...

What To Watch: Summer 2010 TV
There used to be a time when summer television was all reruns and special events, like baseball games and the occasional Olympics. Then it became a reality television zone, giving life to such mind-numbingness as CBS’ Big Brother, a show about thirteen insipid individuals put in a house and made to play inane games and “back door” each other for a chance at a half a million dollars. More and more, though, networks are scheduling new shows for the summer block that are quirkier, non-formulaic, and even character driven. What was once a wasteland is fast becoming a haven for smaller, niche sh...

Buffy 2: The Hellmouth Strikes Back?
Due to the supernatural element of the show and its deft mix of horror and lighthearted comedy, "Reaper" has been compared to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" by critics and couch potatoes alike. While Joss Whedon's masterpiece is often referenced when discussing new shows, the comparison actually makes some sense in this case.
Sam is an ordinary youth who one day is thrust into a supernatural world and presented with a quest. His life is suddenly anything but mundane. He has to keep the mission a secret, although he does have several trusted f...

'Reaper' Debuts Tuesday, Sept. 25 At 9pm On The CW
For the first 20 years of his life, Sam (Bret Harrison, The Loop, Grounded for Life) wondered why his parents went so easy on him. Whether it was school, sports or career choices, Sam's mom (Allison Hossack, "Falcon Beach") and dad (Andrew Airlie, The L Word) always let him get by with the least possible effort. As a result, Sam skipped college, took a dead-end job at the local Work Bench home improvement store and now wastes endless hours playing video games. Everything in his slacker world changed the day Sam turned 21 and discovered the ungodly reason his parents let him slide: they s...
