'Rookie Blue' Recap: 'Breaking Up The Band'

8/28/2015 9:57am EDT
'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Breaking Up The Band' - Say Goo
Since everything we'd been waiting for happened during last week's Rookie Blue, this week's episode is centered around dealing with the aftermath. Whether it's office politics or relationship ones, "Breaking Up The Band" tosses in drama like some people toss a salad.

In case you forgot, Marlo had her baby last week, so this week Sam is on father duty. This once again makes Andy snippy, and she leaves him with the kid to go drinking at the Penny, where Juliet finds her. "We had plans, Sam and I," Andy tells Juliet, wondering aloud how she's supposed to marry her fiancee "in the middle of al...

'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Ninety Degrees' - The Baby Make
This week's Rookie Blue will forever be known as "the one where Andy delivered Marlo and Sam's baby." But other than that, "Ninety Degrees" can also be referred to as the one where Oliver gets his job back, and the one with a bunch of subplots in between. Mostly, though, this is about Marlo, Sam, Andy, the baby and what it means for the series should it continue to another season.

We're still trying to process the fact that Steve is a dirty cop, including Traci, who wants nothing to do with her now ex-boyfriend. Apparently it's been a while since the previous episode because Gail makes a r...

Marlo's Baby Arrives In Tomorrow's 'Rookie Blue' - Watch A Sneak
The moment everyone's been worrying about is finally here on tomorrow night's Rookie Blue. In "Ninety Degrees," as a heat wave hits the city, Marlo (Rachael Ancheril) goes into labor with Sam's (Ben Bass) baby - and only Sam's fiancee Andy (Missy Peregrym) can help her! Check out a clip from the memorable moment below.

Meanwhile, the rest of 15 Division struggles to move on from the corruption scandal that unseated Commissioner Santana and revealed his accomplice within their own ranks. With Commissioner Jarvis (Oliver Becker) opening the building up to the public for use as a cooling st...

'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Best Man' - Who's The Corrupt C
Rookie Blue continues to dig a deeper hole for 15 Division with "Best Man," in which the team tries to save Oliver from the web of corruption and someone else gets caught in it. This episode is co-written by Traci Nash herself, Enuka Okuma, and that makes it all the more almost painful to watch because of how it ends. And how you can't help but wonder what's going to be left off the team after this.

Hey, Noelle's back! Never mind that she's bringing bad news, telling Sam that Juliet is Internal Affairs and Oliver is the leading suspect in the corruption investigation. It's up to the newly ...

'Rookie Blue': Missy Peregrym Previews Andy, Sam And That Bombsh
Rookie Blue fans know that Andy McNally and Sam Swarek have a lot to talk about when season six begins tonight on ABC, picking up three weeks after the events of the season four finale.

So to find out what's ahead for the fan-favorite couple, we went straight to the source: Missy Peregrym, who told us if Sam's news will threaten the renewed McSwarek relationship and how Andy's holding up after a fifth season that saw her struggle as a training officer and caught in an explosion. SPOILER ALERT!

Missy told us she was "shocked" when she learned that Sam's ex-girlfriend Marlo Cruz (a returnin...

Andy's In Trouble In Clip From Tomorrow's 'Rookie Blue' Premiere
Season six of Rookie Blue doesn't start well for Andy McNally. In tomorrow night's season premiere, "Open Windows," Andy's taken three weeks off after the evidence room bomb that could've killed her, and is ready to get back to work.

But when she heads over to Traci's apartment, Andy gets another unpleasant surprise, as you can discover in the preview clip we've included for you here. (Hint: it has nothing to do with the reveal at the end of last season.)

Rookie Blue premieres tomorrow at 10 PM ET/PT on ABC. Check back tomorrow morning for our interview with Missy Peregrym about what el...

That Was Quick: Secret Marriage Ends In Secret Divorce

4/20/2015 8:27am EDT
Zachary Levi And Missy Peregrym File For Divorce Just 10 Months
Zachary Levi and Missy Peregrym got married in a super-secret Hawaii wedding this past June. Now, the couple's playing just as quiet with their divorce just ten months later.

Peregrym officially filed for divorce "last week," according to TMZ, but given the actual divorce details, neither she nor Levi is really holding a grudge. TMZ reports that neither spouse is seeking support, and they have neither kids nor property to split up. As far as divorce drama goes, consider this a very light case.

However there's one giant catch: while Levi and Peregrym are going through the official (and pub...

'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Moving Day' - Culture Clash

'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Moving Day' - Culture Clash
Okay, Rookie Blue. You've gone a little off track the past two weeks, but there's still a lot to love about you. You're clearly making it up to us by inviting one of Canada's best character actors to the party, and coming up with a case of the week that's one of the better ones this season. However, we still want to hit Chloe with a shovel.

15 Division has installed cop-monitoring cameras, much to everyone's amusement and later, nervousness. It's one thing to laugh at your colleagues' conversations, another to realize your every move and word is being documented for other people to scrutin...

'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Two Truths And A Lie' - Sam's Father Comes Back To Haunt Him

'Rookie Blue' Recap And Review: 'Two Truths And A Lie' - Sam's F
Sam Swarek hasn't had a lot to do so far in the new season of Rookie Blue, so we're due for an episode that puts him back in the spotlight. And given that the series made a point of introducing Sam's estranged sister to us in the first few installments, it's no surprise that Sam's A-story also involves his family - namely, his ne'er do well father. It's time to get a big glimpse into what makes Sam tick.

Picking up where last week's episode left off, it's up to Sam to discover who killed Brian Gowdy, the man we previously just thought was in Costa Rica. Oliver thinks we're looking at "a se...

Zachary Levi Quietly Marries Missy Peregrym In Hawaii

6/17/2014 1:46pm EDT
Missy Peregrym and Zachary Levi
No magazine covers, no paparazzi – former Chuck actor Zachary Levi and Rookie Blue actress Missy Peregrym recently wed in secret in Hawaii.

The two revealed the news via Twitter with customized hoodies tugged over their faces that read "MR" and "MRS." Missy captioned the photo, "That coffee date was UNREAL @zacharylevi #marriedinmaui."

The "coffee date: appears to be an inside joke between the two that started at the Tony's. Missy wrote on the 9th, “Hey @ZacharyLevi, great job at the Tony's. You're a real babe alert. How about we grab a coffee and talk about your dreams and goals.”

Missy Peregrym Talks Changes Ahead in Season 4 of 'Rookie Blue'

5/23/2013 12:00pm EDT
Rookie Blue
TV's most entertaining cop drama is back! ABC starts airing the fourth season of Rookie Blue tonight, picking up not far from where it left the characters of 15 Division last summer. BFTV caught up with series star Missy Peregrym, who plays Officer Andy McNally, to ask how Andy has been since viewers saw her departing for an undercover operation, and if there's hope that Andy might get back together with ex-flame Sam Swarek.

When the audience reconnects with Andy in tonight's episode, "I think she feels pretty good about where she's at in her life," Missy told us. "She's been undercover fo...

10 Great TV Shows You're Not Watching

This is my viewpoint, from the far end of the couch...and this week Starpulse has asked me to give you 10 outstanding TV shows that you're not yet loving, but you will.

With so many channels it's no wonder that a lot of great shows either slip through the cracks or don't get as much attention as they deserve. To help you find the series you might not know, I've compiled this handy list of programs you can check out right now.

My only criteria? They must be currently airing and able for you to tune into right now, be it first-run or repeats. (Therefore, cancelled shows are not eliglible, a...

Missy Peregrym: Still Proud To Be 'Rookie Blue'

6/15/2011 5:00pm EDT
Rookie Blue
In just over a week (June 23), ABC's Canadian import Rookie Blue returns for its second season - so it's also the perfect time to get the dish from Missy Peregrym, who leads the cast as would-be supercop Andy McNally. Missy dropped by recently to talk about where Andy is headed in season two, the impact the role has had on her life, and who her heroes are.

You can also check out my recent interview with Missy's Rookie Blue costar Enuka Okuma.

The rookies now have their first year under their belts - so what will be happening with Andy in season two, now that she's no longer technic...

Casting Call: Who Should Be The 'New Wonder Woman'

10/12/2010 9:00am EDT
The Next Wonder Woman
Any time a movie or TV comic book adaptation is announced, the internet becomes instantly abuzz with casting ideas, and when it comes to a character as iconic as Princess Diana of Themiscyra, those opinions are STRONG!

David E. Kelley’s new "Wonder Woman" show (presumably designed to fill the gap Clark Kent will leave when he finally becomes Superman at the end of this final season of "Smallville") is the latest attempt to bring live action resurrection to comics’ pre-eminent superheroine. So who can fill the red and white boots so memorably worn by Lynda Carter in the 1970s? Here are a fe...

What To Watch: Summer 2010 TV

5/14/2010 10:44am EDT
Summer TV 2010
There used to be a time when summer television was all reruns and special events, like baseball games and the occasional Olympics. Then it became a reality television zone, giving life to such mind-numbingness as CBS’ Big Brother, a show about thirteen insipid individuals put in a house and made to play inane games and “back door” each other for a chance at a half a million dollars. More and more, though, networks are scheduling new shows for the summer block that are quirkier, non-formulaic, and even character driven. What was once a wasteland is fast becoming a haven for smaller, niche sh...

The Devil's Reject: 'Reaper' Season 1 Review

12/23/2007 12:12pm EST
Buffy 2: The Hellmouth Strikes Back?

Due to the supernatural element of the show and its deft mix of horror and lighthearted comedy, "Reaper" has been compared to "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" by critics and couch potatoes alike. While Joss Whedon's masterpiece is often referenced when discussing new shows, the comparison actually makes some sense in this case.

Sam is an ordinary youth who one day is thrust into a supernatural world and presented with a quest. His life is suddenly anything but mundane. He has to keep the mission a secret, although he does have several trusted f...

'Reaper' Debuts Tuesday, Sept. 25 At 9pm On The CW

8/15/2007 8:30pm EDT
For the first 20 years of his life, Sam (Bret Harrison, The Loop, Grounded for Life) wondered why his parents went so easy on him. Whether it was school, sports or career choices, Sam's mom (Allison Hossack, "Falcon Beach") and dad (Andrew Airlie, The L Word) always let him get by with the least possible effort. As a result, Sam skipped college, took a dead-end job at the local Work Bench home improvement store and now wastes endless hours playing video games. Everything in his slacker world changed the day Sam turned 21 and discovered the ungodly reason his parents let him slide: they s...
