Christina Hendricks, January Jones & More Ladies Heat Up The 'Mad Men' Season 6 Premiere
Several celebrities attended the season 6 premiere of "Mad Men" in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Christina Hendricks showed off her curves in a black velvet dress and ruby red shoes.
Elisabeth Moss, who plays Peggy Olson, looked anything but dowdy in a low-cut little black dress and peep-toe heels. January Jones (Betty Draper) wore a simple blue and white sleeveless dress, while Jessica Pare (Megan Draper) made a statement in a vibrant, blue and pink floral gown.

Fashion Fail: SAGging Looks
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails! This week we have a collection of bad fashion from the SAG awards.
Jennifer Lawrence: Above we have Miss Lawrence, whose dress was forgettable except for the fact it was apparently designed to fall apart if she attempted to walk up stairs.
Julianne Moore: From the bottom up, her dress starts nicely before ending in an unflattering and loose blouse top.
Ellie Kemper: This sea foam gown looks like it was the selection of a p...

Vibrant Yellow Gowns Dominate 2012 Emmy Fashion - See Tons Of Photos!
The red carpet was full of bright colors at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards last night, but yellow was the most popular. "Modern Family" star Julie Bowen, winner of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, looked oustanding in a strapless canary yellow gown.
"Homeland" winner Claire Danes, who is several months pregnant, also opted for a strapless yellow dress that was (obviously) more loose fitting than Julie's.
"Game Change" winner Julianne Moore picked a more conservative yellow gown with long sleeves, a higher neckline and a billowing skirt.

'Mad Men': 'Fees And Commissions' - And Beginnings And Endings
With ‘Fees and Commissions,’ ‘Mad Men’ did what it does best: Telling a melancholy – no, tragic – story quite matter-of-factly. It was shocking even though we all probably saw a lot of it coming. It was both sympathetic and heartless, and it showed how television can juxtapose images and storylines to masterful effect.
This episode is about beginnings and endings. The young and the not-so-young. It features characters rejuvenated with confidence and others completely drained of it. And at the center of the story, fittingly and sadly, is Lane Pryce.

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Christmas Waltz,' Flirting And Back Taxes
Is it just me, or is ‘Christmas Waltz’ one of the weakest ‘Mad Men’ episodes all season? It’s not because of the characters featured (Harry, Joan and Lane, primarily). I think it’s because one gets the sense that this episode is moving the show along toward the season finale, but as a dramatic arc in itself, it falls flat.
Let’s look back at what happens. Lane is informed by his attorney in England that he owes a crapload of back taxes. Lane panics and resorts to desperate measures. He gets SCDP’s bank manager to extend $50,000 in credit, then tells the execs that a $50,000 surplus should ...

Jessica Pare Thought 'Mad Men' Role Was Going To Be Short-Term
Mad Men star Jessica Pare had no idea how big a part she had landed when she was first cast as Jon Hamm's receptionist on the hit TV show and was convinced her character would be fired from episode to episode.
The actress was brought in as advertising executive Don Draper's office assistant Megan in the fourth season of the period drama, and the two characters embarked on a love affair which resulted in marriage, bringing Pare back for the current season five.
But Pare insists she wasn't worried about being written out of the program - she was content just watching Hamm and his leading co...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Dark Shadows' And Desperation All Around
In ‘Dark Shadows,’ Betty grows jealous and irritable while trying to watch her weight, Pete fantasizes about a virtual stranger amid his failures, and Don does something almost as underhanded as Betty. You know the end of the season is approaching when characters get evermore desperate.
Let’s start with Betty. She’s faithfully attending Weight Watchers meetings and seems slimmer since the last time we saw her. It’s clearly a strain on her: She catches herself spraying whipped cream into her mouth straight out of the fridge and results to telling Sally one of Don’s secrets out of jealousy ...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Lady Lazarus' And Office Angst
There’s a lot of angst at the heart of ‘Lady Lazarus.’ Megan can’t stand advertising and yearns to return to acting; Pete is apparently unhappy in his marriage and seeks another lover; and Peggy grows upset about Megan’s departure and the way she thinks Don takes it out on her.
Let’s back up. Megan is downright secretive throughout the first half of the episode. She’s clearly hiding something from everyone, but just what is unclear until Peggy catches her in a lie. Megan tells Don that she’s working late, but then tells Peggy that Don wants her home for dinner. A flustered Peggy avoids mul...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'At The Codfish Ball' And Sally's Quick Adulthood
Sally Draper is perhaps the most mature person in many of her scenes in ‘Mad Men,’ even though she’s just a kid. There’s a lot going on behind those eyes, never more so than in ‘At the Codfish Ball.’ Sally is thrown into extremely adult situations, yet she remains composed. She appropriately calls everything she’s experienced in the city “dirty.”
The reason she’s involved in much of the episode is because Henry’s mother breaks her ankle after tripping over a cord, and Sally performs well under pressure. Betty and her husband are not mentioned, so they’re God-knows-where. Sally and her sibl...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Signal 30' And Pete's Downward Spiral
“I have everything,” Pete Campbell says to himself in ‘Signal 30.’ And by the finale, the petals have certainly fallen off the rose.
All seems to be going well for him. He’s attracted to a young student in his driver’s ed class, where they both laugh at the instructional video (titled ‘Signal 30’); he feels like a handyman after he fixes a leaky faucet in the middle of the night; and Don finally “accepts” his invitation to come over for dinner (“Accepts” meaning he calls to cancel, but Trudy won’t let him out of it).
Ken, meanwhile, somewhat secretly disses Peggy at a café, where she thin...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Mystery Date' And Don's Feverish Dream
Who is the ‘Mystery Date’ in the latest ‘Mad Men’ episode? In a way, this episode is all about strange companion pairings: Don and his former “acquaintance” Andrea; Peggy and Dawn; Sally and Henry’s mother; and, let’s say it, Joan and her husband.
Let’s start with Joan. Greg finally returns from his domestic tour, and it’s no surprise that he’s still a jerk. He’s barely acquainted with his son (well, not really his son, but you know what I mean) before he’s in the bedroom with Joan. (By the way, if she ever hosted a modern day sex talk show, not that she ever would, that would be a fitting...

'Mad Men' Recap: 'Tea Leaves' - Betty Has Weight And Health Issues
Here are two words I never thought would go together on ‘Mad Men’: Fat Betty. Unseen in the season premiere, Betty has indeed plumped up. She’s clearly upset about it and doesn’t seem to know what to do with herself. Her mother unhelpfully suggests she try diet pills, while her doctor at first tells her that sudden weight gain is a common problem for bored housewives. What a simple explanation.
But then he finds a lump in Betty’s throat, and then “Betty might have thyroid cancer” lingers through the episode. In the end, she apparently finds out she doesn’t have it and tells her husband she...

'Mad Men's' Rendition Of 'Zou Bisou Bisou' A Hit On iTunes
"Mad Men" star Jessica Pare's rendition of Gillian Hills' 1960s tune "Zou Bisou Bisou" has shot to the top of iTunes' download list after the actress performed the French pop tune on the season premiere of the hit drama on Sunday.
Pare performed the tune in character as Megan Draper at a birthday party and her version of the song, which Sophia Loren performed in "The Millionairess," was one of the most in-demand downloads on Monday.
A limited edition seven-inch single of the recording is available to fans of the show via the Mad Men website.

'Mad Men' Recap: 'A Little Kiss'
After shrouds of secrecy and an agonizing 17-month wait, ‘Mad Men’ returned to the airwaves on Sunday with an episode titled ‘A Little Kiss.’ And it was worth the wait for fans to pucker up.
For ‘Mad Men’ watchers wondering how far in the future the plot would pick up, the question was answered fairly quickly. At Don and Megan’s new digs, Don’s three kids sit on bar stools for breakfast. Gene looks to be about two to three, so we can guess the action is perhaps a few months to a year or so into the future.
Betty is nowhere to be seen, although Don does drop the kids off at her ginormous h...
