Jacqueline Danell Obradors has starred in multiple television shows and films, and is best known for playing Detective Rita Ortiz in "NYPD Blue" (2001-05) and her supporting roles in the movies "Six Days, Seven Nights" (1998) ,"Tortilla Soup" (2001) and "A Man Apart" (2003). The California native was born to Argentinean parents on Oct. 6, 1966, in San Fernando Valley. She started her acting career by appearing in "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" in 1992 and subsequently landed one-off roles in series such as "Diagnosis Murder," "Murder She Wrote," "George Lopez," "Franklin & Bash," "The Glades."
