Michael McKean Thanks Fans For Support After Car Crash
Spinal Tap star Michael McKean has thanked fans for their well wishes after he was knocked down by a car on Tuesday, insisting he's "overwhelmed" by their support.
The veteran funnyman broke his leg and suffered facial lacerations after a car reportedly mounted a curb in New York and struck him, and he was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.
McKean is in a stable condition and he returned to his Twitter.com page late on Wednesday to assure fans he's recovering well.

Salem's Lot screenwriter Peter Filardi is reportedly reworking the script of the 1990 TV epic, which starred Tim Curry as a demonic clown.
The original also starred John Ritter, Annette O'Toole and a young Seth Green.
The mini-series, based on King's novel of the same name, follows the fortunes of seven kids fighting an evil clown, called Pennywise, in 1960s Maine.
