Splendid and incredibly beautiful in "Picnic" dramatic in "Of Human Bondage" comedic in "Moll Flanders", most gorgeous in "Lylah Clare" and most underrated in "Kiss Me Stupid" Kim Novak was directed by such as Alfred Hitchcock, Billy Wilder, George Sidney, Joshua Logan among others including her former love Richard Quine in "Strangers When We Meet" "Notorious Landlady" and "Bell Book and Candle". Kim Novak worked with many of the top stars of Hollywood: Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, Rita Hayworh, Fred Astaire, Jane Wyman, Frank Sinatra, William Holden, Jack Lemmon, James Garner, Kirk Douglas, Tyrone Power, and very fine actors such as Ben Kingsley, Frederic March, Peter Finch,(former husband) Richard Johnson, Angela Lansbury, et al. Kim Novak's most memorable performance is in "Vertigo" a masterpiece, with James Stewart under Hitchcock's direction and Bernard Herrman's great film score. Ironically this film is now considered one of the greatest films of Hollywood History yet Neither Novak nor Stewart nor Hitchcock nor the Film Itself was even nominated.
