The Tribeca Film Festival starts its final weekend with a full slate of screening for your movie going pleasure. Today is the best day to hit up that film you’ve been eyeballing in the programs—after today the rush queues get SUPER long. Here are some of the more talked about selections that will be playing today.

As a pre-teaser to Comic-Con, Loinsgate has released a bloody little gem for fans to view from Conan the Barbarian. When comparing "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" to that awful fellow Hasbro monstrosity "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Joe" plays out like a goddamn Federico Fellini film. Coherent plot, well established characters, discernible action sequences (Also: no racist robot caricatures, so there's that). It's always kind of fun to write a negative review - especially when the studio doesn't screen it for said writer, early. Unfortunately, for those purposes, "G.I. Joe" is kinda, sorta ... good (!?) Dennis Quaid is helping to bring action figure G.I. Joe to life in a much-anticipated new war movie. The actor has signed on to join Sienna Miller, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, Rachel Nichols and Joseph Gordon-Levitt on the star-studded blockbuster, which is set to hit cinemas in 2009.

The Mummy filmmaker Stephen Sommers will direct the film, based on the popular action figure and TV series.

Quaid will portray General Hawk in the movie, while Miller will play femme fatale Baroness.
