The final installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, is upon us; and much like Heath Ledger's Joker the film's villains are once again posed to steal the show.

This time around we'll be reintroduced to three bad guys: Bane, (Tom Hardy), Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson). Both Bane and Catwoman made their first appearances in the original film run that Tim Burton started in the 1990s (and, fortunately, we'll be seeing a much different Bane in TDKR); and Ra's al Ghul returns to the series after his intro in Batman Begins.

New Catwoman Anne Hathaway based her performance in the latest Batman movie on Hedy Lamarr, the glamorous 1940s film star who first inspired the character.

The Devil Wears Prada star is the latest actress to take on the role of the Caped Crusader's feline nemesis, following in the footsteps of Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt and Michelle Pfeiffer, in Christopher Nolan's upcoming The Dark Knight Rises.

Pamela Anderson has been voted TV's Sexiest Woman Ever in a new online poll. The 49-year-old former Baywatch babe topped the AOL list, which was announced on Wednesday.

Website editors gave her the top honor for taking "bodacious to a new level."

Other hot women on the list were Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker, Katherine Heigl, Jessica Alba and former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Charisma Carpenter.

Veteran TV pin-ups Jaclyn Smith from Charlie's Angels and original Catwoman Julie Newmar also made the countdown.
