She tells chat show host Megan Mullally, "We've had lights move, literally three and a half inches to the left, as you're sitting there the lights move. We've had lights burst over actors' heads when they're playing people who don't believe in ghosts. A light will burst into a million pieces right over them.

October 6th, 2006 9:07am EDT
Michael Clarke Duncan
Michael Clarke Duncan blew his chance of landing a role in his favorite TV show 24, when he lost his cool in front of its star Kiefer Sutherland. Duncan was thrilled to get an audition for a part in 24, but he wishes he hadn't called Sutherland by his character's name, Jack Bauer.

He tells chat show host Megan Mullally, "I had a meeting over there some months ago. And I said, 'I'm going to be real cool, drive my Hummer over there and be like this.' And I see Jack Bauer running to a van, and his name's not Jack Bauer, it's Kiefer Sutherland.

Will Ferrell thrilled Megan Mullally when she launched her talk show career yesterday by showing up in just his underwear. Ferrell was Mullally's first guest on her new show, and he decided to make quite an entrance in a pair of blue Y-fronts and knee-length sports socks.

After presenting Mullally with a bouquet of flowers and handing a rose to the host's stunned mother, who was sitting in the audience, Ferrell told the actress, "There's an old saying: 'When you're nervous you should imagine people in their underwear.' I just wanted to cut to the chase."

Megan Mullally had a good feeling she'd pick up a second Emmy Award on Sunday because a psychic once told her she'd be a double winner. The superstitious star was confident about her chances of winning gold at the Los Angeles ceremony for her role in the now defunct Will & Grace, because it was predestined.

She explains, "When I was about 20 or 21 I lived in Chicago and I went to a psychic, who told me I was gonna win two Emmys - they were like bookends - for playing a secretary on a sitcom."

The actress' Will & Grace character, Karen Walker, was a secretary on the show.

Megan Mullally was stunned when she received a $2,200 bill for a pricey pair of designer shoes because she had no idea shoes could cost that much. The actress despises shopping, unlike her shopaholic character on her hit sitcom Will & Grace, and never makes time for it.
