He tells the New York Times, "It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point. It got to a point where I said, 'Maybe it's just time to go.'"

Watch The Trailer For Nick Offerman's 'Somebody Up There Likes'
Ron Swanson's got nothing on Nick Offerman's newest dry-tongued sour puss, Sal.
In this trailer for Bob Byington's SXSW-selected "Somebody Up There Likes Me," the "Parks and Recreation" star trades in his uber-conservative mustached wit monster for a middle-aged barkeep with a dismal sense of self and a sick salt and pepper goatee.
Offerman co-leads the indie comedy alongside Keith Poulson as an existential food and beverage-slinger whose protege is clueless in matters of the heart. "The last five years I wake up and it's like something fast-forwarded beyond my control," he pouts.

Wendy Kim claims her Mercedes incurred almost $15,000 worth of damage from the accident, in which both women sustained minor injuries.
Kim has now filed legal documents at Los Angeles Superior Court demanding Mullally pays for the repair costs, but so far the actress has refused because she insists she is innocent of any wrongdoing.
Mullally claims the traffic light was yellow when she drove through it and that Kim's "negligence" resulted in the crash, reports TMZ.com.

Returning Mid-Season Shows: What's Worth Watching?
We’ve already been over what new shows are premiering mid-season. There are lots of returning favorites as well, and some promise to be some of this year’s highest-rated programs. Others are sure to be stinkers. Here’s our guide to what’s returning, and what’s worth watching.
‘V’ – ABC, Jan. 4
Starring Elizabeth Mitchell (‘LOST’) as FBI agent Erica Evans and Morena Baccarin as the leader of the visitors, this season kicks off after a long hiatus. ABC calls it “a show we’d like to run as uninterrupted as possible.” Time will tell if the long wait has dented the show’s audience. Anyo...

Are Film Remakes Worth The Risk?
In these tough economic times, film studios are producing more and more remakes. Though some cite the financial insecurity of the viewing public, many simply argue that there is just no originality anymore, and why take a risk on a "new" idea when you can simply bring back what has since become a cult classic?
All films can be considered risks, however, especially when "date night" at the movies takes a middle class couple's expendable income. Not one of the top 10 films at the box office this summer was a remake. Perhaps that is because these new-old movies have versions sitting on Blo...

Can The Remake Of 'Fame' Reinvent Itself Or Surpasses Its Predecessor?
There are a lot of movies about the angst and the hope of high school, and even a few musicals set in that time period, but none of them were quite as devastating or as memorable as "Fame." The film came out in 1980 and is about the life of an ensemble cast of talented teenagers as they enroll in an extremely competitive performing arts high school. Only the best of the best get into the New York High School of Performing Arts, and those that do get in must prepare for four years of grueling practice and soul crushing criticism. The students learn that they must lean on one another and on a...

Check Out '30 Rock' Season 3 On DVD Sept. 22
On the third season of "30 Rock," Liz Lemon tries to avoid jury duty by dressing as Princess Leia, Jenna stars in a biopic about Janis Joplin, and Steve Martin plays a fabulously wealthy agoraphobe. Liz increasingly yearns for a normal life while she navigates two doomed relationships, one with a little person, whom she initially mistakes for a child, and the other with a neighbor, who doesn't realize people have allowed him to skate through life because of his impossibly good looks.

'Arrested Development' Cast: Where Are They Now?
The family that chicken dances together, stays together. With the February 24 announcement that Michael Cera - the lone holdout - had finally signed on for the long-rumored Arrested Development movie, message boards went bonkers for Bluth bananas.
Cera is easily the most successful and visible post-Bluth. With SuperBad, Juno, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and Sundance darling Paper Heart, this kid has perfected the tentatively awkward comedic timing that made you root for the love story of George Michael and his cousin Maeby.

What To Watch In March? Spotlight On Mid-Season Shows
Once upon a time in a magical land called Hollywood, harried and somewhat unkempt writers bit their nails down to the quick awaiting news on if their pilots would receive full season orders, be given solid "Nos," or worse: be relegated to the limbo that is "mid-season replacement" territory.
Such shows aren't guaranteed to air at all, particularly if the initial fall line-up (the shows that network executives felt had the most potential) succeeds. And if mid-season shows do get a shot after premature cancellations, there is no guarantee they will find an audience, considering so many ...

Megan Mullaly is 'Fame's' New Singing Teacher
Before High School Musical, there was a real musical high school. 1980's Fame showed the struggles of a class at the New York Academy of Performing Arts. This year, a remake will launch a whole new class and Megan Mullally will teach them how to sing.
"I play the singing teacher," Mullally said. "We sing at a karaoke bar so I have to get up and sing a song, 'You Took Advantage of Me' by Rodgers and Hart."
That scene in the movie will be a rare look at the TV and Broadway star performing for a bar full of drunk crooners. In real life, she can't rock the karaoke mic.

'Will & Grace' Stars Set For Spin-Off?
Former Will & Grace co-stars Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes are set to star in a spin-off of the hit comedy. The pair will reprise their camp double-act in "Karen & Jack," which is currently in development at network NBC.
According to sources, Hayes was keen on a spin-off soon after "Will & Grace" ended in 2006 - but was put off by the failure of Matt LeBlanc's Friends follow-up Joey. Plans were then derailed when Mullally landed a talk show - but that flopped, throwing the pair back together again.

A Look At The Evolution Of The Web Series
It's pretty apparent that the emergence of original programming on the internet, debuting at only minute-and-a-half to three minute clips, was geared directly at the teenage set-- playing into the whole shortening attention span and need to get their entertainment from the same rectangular box that they get the research for their term papers and with which they network and communicate with friends. Web series, as they were deemed, didn't officially become an official part of new media until they began to gain widespread popularity with lonelygirl15, a video blog from a so-called teenage gir...
READ MORESpotlight On Movies That Became Musicals
Fans of movie musicals know that most of their favorites, like "Grease," "West Side Story," "The Sound of Music," and "Oklahoma!" were adapted from popular Broadway plays. However, the trend in recent years has been to flip that formula around by taking a big-screen hit and trying to turn it into a small-stage sensation.
Disney has had great success with its theatrical adaptations, starting in 1994 with the critically-acclaimed "Beauty and the Beast." The hits kept coming with stage productions of "The Lion King," "Mary Poppins," and, most recently, "The Little Mermaid."

Megan Mullally's Nudity Is In High Demand?
Actress Megan Mullally has been bombarded with offers to strip off on screen for the first time as she approaches 50.
The 49-year-old star was first asked to shoot a scene semi-nude for a guest appearance on the TV series Boston Legal last year - and is now being called on to shed her clothes more regularly. But the move has left Mullally confused - because she was never asked to flaunt her figure when she was younger.
