Chloe Moretz says her family is like the Spice Girls.
The 'Carrie' actress grew up in a single parent household with her four older brothers doting on her and she claims her siblings are all so different from one another they remind her of the iconic 90s girl band, each with their own nickname and persona.
She told the Metro newspaper: "My family keeps me on the ground; I have four older brothers and they are all very, very protective. They are like four fathers.

Chloe Moretz says "maybe later" she'll go off the rails.
The 17-year-old actress is into healthy living and determined not to fall foul of the pitfalls of fame, so is steering clear of drink and drugs to ensure her career stays on track.
When asked if she plans to go off the rails, she replied: "No, not now! Maybe later, who knows? But for now, I'm so happy with my life that I don't need to be rebellious. I wouldn't want to jeopardize what I've accomplished. I could do drugs and drink, but why would I want to do something that can strip away everything I've spent my life working for?"

Just Looking: Hollywood's Hottest Jailbait

October 27th, 2013 6:01pm EDT
Kendall Jenner
It's nothing to be ashamed of; we get older, and stars just seem to get younger and prettier. And while there is nothing wrong with just looking, we must always remember the age-old adage '15 will get you 20.'

The youngest and most talented actresses and musicians are almost inevitably beautiful as well, many looking considerably older than their actual appearance might suggest.

Still, we know you don't want Google or Yahoo (or your spouse for that matter) to think you're a creepy perv when you search for 'Sexy Stars' expecting to get Mariah Carey or Scarlet Johansson, and instead get a l...

Chloe Moretz
Chloe Moretz says her part in Carrie has been her "most vulnerable" film role.

The 16-year-old actress assumes the role of teenager Carrie White in a remake of the Stephen King novel and although she was eager to be cast as the female lead she is still anxious about people seeing it.

She explained: "It's probably the most vulnerable I've ever been as an actor, so in some ways it's kind of terrifying for people to see it, but at the same time it's very exciting and kind of an awakening for me because it's something I've never done before."

October 19th, 2013 1:01pm EDT
Chloe Moretz
Chloe Moretz landed the lead role in Martin Scorsese's 2011 Best Picture Oscar Nominee Hugo by pretending to be British.

The director originally wanted an all-British cast for the film, but the budding young actress's English accent was enough to convince Scorsese that she was from across the pond.

"We got the note when I was auditioning for the film that he wouldn't take anyone who wasn't British, and so I was like, 'Well, I'm gonna lie and say I'm British', naturally.

"I just totally put on the accent and met him with a British accent, and told him I was from England and lived in the c...

“At the end of the day, I was just the actor who had to stand there and get it dumped on me,” Moretz said. “They did something like 50 or 60 or 70 blood tests with one gir...

October 8th, 2013 2:00pm EDT
Hailee Steinfeld & Chloe Grace Moretz
Young starlets sometimes try to eschew their child star images by dressing too mature for their age or showing a little too much skin on the red carpet. Sixteen-year-old actresses Hailee Steinfeld and Chloe Grace Moretz are the exception.

Moretz attended the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming film "Carrie" on Monday looking lovely in a green Valentino gown with a dandelion print design.

In her new film, Moretz plays Carrie White, a shy outcast with a very religious mother. When she is bullied at her senior prom, she uses her telekinetic powers to terrorize the entire town. The Stephen Kin...

Chloe Moretz ignored the original 'Carrie'

October 6th, 2013 7:45am EDT
Chloe Moretz
Chloë Moretz didn't watch the original Carrie to prepare for her role in the remake.

The 16-year-old actress deliberately avoided the 1976 adaptation of the Stephen King novel, which was directed by Brian De Palma and starred Sissy Spacek as the titular character, so she could have her own take on the role without other influences.

She said: "I deliberately haven't watched the original movie. I'm sure what Sissy Spacek and Brian De Palma did was phenomenal, but I didn't want to end up copying any performances. I wanted to make my Carrie come to life and not steal someone else's Carrie."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson feels there was a "natural break" between the 'Kick-Ass' movies.

The actor reprises his role as the titular hero in the new superhero comedy movie - which also stars Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse - and he is happy with the three-year gap between the 2010 original and the recently-released 'Kick-Ass 2' because it built up anticipation among fans.

He explained: "We didn't have to do a sequel, but I loved [the script], Chris read it and he loved it, Chloe read it and she loved it, and we all made it happen. It was like putting a band back together and I loved...

Chloe Moretz Has To Fight For Film Roles

August 25th, 2013 10:45am EDT
Chloe Moretz
Chloe Moretz finds herself fighting for movie roles because there are so few for young girls.

The 16-year-old actress is constantly competing with other young Hollywood stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Shailene Woodley and Hailee Steinfeld for great movie parts because there are so few roles for young leading ladies.

She told BANG Showbiz: "It's harder now because there's a limited amount of parts for my age range. It's hard, because there's five scripts a year and it's like, 'Fight for one [script]! Shove you in the gauntlet and fight to the death for our role.' It's hard.

She told BANG Showbiz: "It's amazing ... I think young Hollywood right now, rising Hollywood, is a really strong group of girls. I think it's really cool that we really are showing people who we are and we're not taking no for an answer.

"We're forcing our way through into slots that w...

Review: Second Helping Of 'Kick-Ass 2' Satisfies

August 15th, 2013 3:00pm EDT
Kick-Ass 2
Sequels are always tough sell, but follow-ups to cult flicks might as well have a bull’s eye attached.  In the case of the new "Kick-Ass 2" there is such a target but fortunately most of the characters, story and action hit the mark just right.  The result is a flick that stays right on par with its predecessor in terms of tone and entertainment value and gives fans of the original exactly what they crave – more of the same.

Young Dave Lizewski aka Kick-Ass is at a crossroads.  He’s been missing in the crime-fighting superhero scene, so he decides to get back in the game by enlisting the h...

'Kick-Ass 2' Star Chloe Moretz Not Worried About Child Star Curse

August 14th, 2013 1:28pm EDT
Kick-Ass 2
Former child star Chloe Grace Moretz is convinced she will have no problems slipping into more adult roles because she was propelled to fame by her gritty "Kick-Ass" character.

The teenage actress became a household name after causing a storm with her foul-mouthed part as child assassin Hit-Girl in the 2010 action comedy when she was just 13 years old.

However, Moretz is adamant she will not suffer the typical child star curse of struggling to find credibility as an adult actress because she is under no pressure to break free from a squeaky-clean onscreen image.

Moretz instead compares h...

The 16-year-old actress - who has been working in Hollywood for most of her life - insists the perks of fame have allowed her to enjoy an "immense" life already and she hasn't missed out on her youth.

She explained to BANG Showbiz: "I think growing up in Hollywood, I've actually had a greater childhood because I've been able to see what I'm learning in my history books, I've been able to go and see around the world, and I've been able to experience it first-hand whereas a lot of my friends have only bee...

Fashion Fails: Snooki, Nick Cannon, Chloe Moretz, And More

August 11th, 2013 3:07pm EDT
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

This is just about what we've come to expect from Snooki at this point: ugly stonewashed jeans tucked into garish high-top sneakers (with high heels?), a tasseled top, giant hoop earrings, and an oversized name-brand bag. Lorenzo looks hip, though.

Nick Cannon is trying to break up the monotony of black suits, but even in spring this collection of colors would be too much. It's the tie and shoes that kill this number and turn i...

Chloe Grace Moretz: 'Designers Think I'm Too Young'

August 6th, 2013 9:45pm EDT
Chloe Moretz
Chloe Grace Moretz says designers have refused to dress her because she's too young.

The 'Kick-Ass' star is a regular fixture on the red carpet, wearing elegant dresses from the likes of Chanel and Louis Vuitton, but she admits some high end brands have told her to wait a few years before they lend her their couture creations.

She told Glamour magazine: "There are brands that say, 'We can't dress you until you're 20'. People who buy their clothes don't want to see a $50,000 dress on a 16-year-old!"

Chloe isn't fazed by their decision, however, and insists she still has fun with fashion b...

Gwyneth Paltrow
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Gwyneth Paltrow was under fire last week for her out-of-touch cookbook, and we think she's still showing how out of touch she is with this squared-off shoulderpad and garish flower pattern ensemble.

We're all happy Perez Hilton is in shape now, but we're not exactly sure what's going on with this top, boots and shimmering, skintight pants? Sure. But what the heck is that other thing? A backwards dress? A cloak?

We're not s...
