French actor Jean-Claude Brialy has died. He was 74. The A Woman Is A Woman star died at his home in Paris on Wednesday evening after a long illness. Brialy enjoyed a film career spanning four decades, and has starred in almost 200 movies for filmmakers including Jean-Luc Godard, Claude Chabrol and Francois Truffaut.

Veteran actress Jane Fonda was shocked and "overwhelmed" to receive a special lifetime achievement award at the Cannes Film Festival Sunday night. The Academy Award-winning actress, famed for her roles in movies like Barbarella, Coming Home and 1971's Klute, was presented with the prestigious award at the French film event, by festival chief Gilles Jacob.
