American actress and singer Alyson Michalka was born on March 25, 1989, in Torrance, California, but she grew up in Seattle, Wash. She started acting when she was five years old, playing the piano since she was six and playing guitar since thirteen. Alyson is a member of the musical duo Aly & A.J. with her younger sister Amanda Joy. Their first album "Into The Rush" was released in August of 2005. Alyson's acting debut came when she was cast as Keely Teslow in the Disney Channel original series "Phil of The Future." She also has starred in the television shows "Cowbells," "Havesham Hall" and the made for TV movie "Now You See It." Alyson's hobbies are dance, art, horseback riding and hanging out with her two dogs, Saint and Bandit.
