Model and television host Michele Merkin was born in San Francisco and attended boarding school in England before studying medicine at U.C.L.A. She did some modeling in Europe for Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire and Harper's bazaar Magazines. Michele made her film debut in the 1995 comedy "Selvaggi;" however, she is best known as the host of Style Network's lighthearted cooking show "Foody Call," as well as the host of the GSN series "Extreme Dodgeball."
