| Recently saw her on Law and order , as her character Lt. van Buren got the news she contracted cervical cancer , if she does'nt get an emmy for that scene alone , the Lady had me believing it was for real, she's a terrific actress . I had to stop and say " hold on this is only tv" ! | ||

| One day I happened to watch Lackawanna Blues. I was amazed at what a good actress Ms. Merkerson actually is because I had only seen her on Law and Order, where her part is so one demensional it has not done her abilities justice. So when a friend told me she was going to see Come Back Little Sheba, staring Ms. Merkerson, and that her performance had gotten the kind of review worthy of her acting, I was very pleased for her. | ||

| She is a fine entertainer. I have enjoyed her for years and so glad that she won for "Lackawanna Blues." I'm glad to see that she is going to return to "Law & Order" this season (07-08). I enjoyed her stint on "The Closer" this summer as Brenda Leigh's doctor. | ||
