Actor Adam Brody has been secretly romancing Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester, according to a report.

The pair struck up a friendship when they appeared in 2011 movie The Oranges together, and editors at Us Weekly magazine claim the stars are now dating.

Brody and Meester reportedly travelled to Bangkok together earlier this year and were seen at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Friday.

 A source tell the publication, "They were always close and friendly."

Leighton Meester takes racy to a whole new level in a new shoot for Los Angeles-based Flaunt magazine.

Leighton stars as the cover girl for the November issue, which is on newsstands now, and in the issue itself she sheds her top, gets fondled by another woman, and cavorts with two nude men (sorry, you'll have to go to the official site to see that photo).

"It was the best magazine cover shoot EVER," Leighton says. "Everyone was so open. The clothes were amazing and the pictures turned out great."

The series, which stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, is set to return for a fifth season in the autumn but TVLine.com reports both Momsen and Szohr will be missing from the line-up.

Momsen has taken a hiatus from the show in recent months to concentrate on working with her band, The Pretty Reckless, while Szohr has played an increasingly smaller role over the fourth season. They will both reportedly be able to return as guest stars in the future.
