Classic TV Actress Jayne Meadows Dies At 95
American actress Jayne Meadows Allen, best known for a string of TV and movie roles, died on Sunday, April 26. She was 95 years old, and died peacefully of natural causes in her home in Encino, California, reports NPR.

Meadows first broke into Hollywood in the late 1940s, landing roles in "Undercurrent" with Katharine Hepburn, "Song of the Thin Man" and "Enchantment."

In the next decade she would become a television staple, appearing regularly on the CBS panel game shows "I've Got a Secret" and "What's My Line?"
