Elizabeth McGovern has sexed up her image for her new music video.
The 'Downton Abbey' actress, best known for playing Lady Cora in the period drama, looks every inch the rock goddess in the video for her band Sadie and the Hotheads' new single, 'Everybody's Got A Song'.
The video alternates between shots of the 52-year-old star driving a vintage car through the desert, looking glamorous behind the wheel in retro 50s clothing, and scenes of her playing the guitar surrounded by her band mates.

Elizabeth McGovern thinks she was "too young" to be nominated for an Oscar award.

The 52-year-old actress was just 20 when her performance as Evelyn Nesbit in her second movie 'Ragtime' earned her a nod in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Although she was flattered to be considered for the honor, she was unsure whether she deserved to be in the running for the prestigious prize.

McGovern said: "I was thrilled to be nominated for an Oscar, but there was a part of me that thought, 'I'm not sure I deserve this year. I was very young and working with marvelous people."

Gillian Anderson missed out on the chance to star in Downton Abbey after she was offered a leading role in the popular British period drama.

The X Files star has revealed she was approached by TV bosses to play American aristocrat Lady Cora Crawley in the Emmy-winning TV series, which has become a hit on both sides of the Atlantic.

Shirley MacLaine is set to join the cast of award-winning British TV drama "Downton Abbey" as the mother of Elizabeth McGovern's Countess of Grantham.

Maclaine will play American socialite Martha Levinson in the upcoming third season of the celebrated series, which begins shooting this spring.

Confirming the casting news, producer Gareth Naeme tells the BBC, "(Writer/creator) Julian (Fellowes) has written another brilliant character in Martha Levinson, who will be a wonderful combatant for Maggie Smith's Dowager Countess."

British actress Rosamund Pike is in talks to replace Alexa Davalos in a planned Clash of the Titans sequel.

The sexy former Bond girl is in final negotiations to play Greek princess Andromeda in the project.
