Now that Californication's Hank Moody has been convicted of statutory rape, it's time for him to face the music.

Sunday's season finale (9/8c on Showtime) finds Hank (David Duchovny) awaiting his sentencing, and the outcome floors him. But you shouldn't necessarily expect the show's next season to resemble Oz.

Natascha Mcelhone's mother has refused to read the actress' touching book detailing the aftermath of her husband's sudden death because the notes are too emotional.

The "Californication" star was filming in Los Angeles when her plastic surgeon partner Martin Kelly suffered a cardiac arrest in May, 2008, collapsing on the doorstep of the couple's London home.

McElhone, who was pregnant with the pair's third child at the time of Kelly's death, poured out her thoughts and feelings on paper in the subsequent months and the notes were made into a book.

Turner, Gallagher & Farr To Guest Star On 'Californication'

Kathleen Turner, Peter Gallagher and Diane Farr will appear on SHOWTIME's acclaimed comedy series Californication's third season, premiering later this fall.

Turner will play Charlie's (Evan Handler) tough, sexy boss/agency head with a thing for her newest employee in 10 of the season's 12 episodes, while Farr will take over as a sexy teacher's assistant who strikes up a naughty relationship with Hank (David Duchovny) in several episodes. Gallagher will play the dean of students who has a contentious relationship with Hank in 8 episodes.

It's back to bed for Showtime with the 3rd season pick-up of the Golden Globe Award-winning comedy series Californication, it was announced by Robert Greenblatt, Showtime President of Entertainment.

Series star and executive producer David Duchovny, who won a Golden Globe Award for his work as 'Hank Moody,' a novelist with weaknesses for sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll, will resume production next spring on 12 episodes for a late 2009 premiere.

Showtime has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of a stylish new comedy series, (as yet untitled) scheduled to premiere in August. Set to begin production in Los Angeles, in June the new series stars and is executive produced by Golden Globe-winning actor David Duchovny.
