Eve Plumb's Rep Dismisses Feud Rumors
A representative for former Brady Bunch star Eve Plumb has dismissed rumors a feud with cast mate Maureen McCormick led to the cancellation of a planned TV reunion. Plumb and McCormick, who played onscreen sisters Jan and Marsha Brady, fell out in 2007 after McCormick published her autobiography Here's the Story, alleging she enjoyed a lesbian affair with her former co-star.
Plumb denied the claims, accusing McCormick of making up the story to sell more books.
The reported feud is said to have derailed a planned Brady Bunch reunion on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009, and subsequent plans ...

Maureen McCormick Thinks Eve Plumb Won't Talk To Her Over Lesbian Affair Comment
Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia on the '70s sitcom "The Brady Bunch" recently blogged that her TV screen Sister Jan (Eve Plumb) is angry with her.
"I know people go through problems with friends, family and co-workers. But I hate when there's trouble in Brady land, and I especially hate that Eve seems to have a problem with me. I have no idea why unless she's mad at the joke I made a few years ago that we'd had a lesbian love affair. I made the crack to be funny - and for shock value. I'm sorry if she took offense. But hey, it was a joke," wrote McCormick on her blog on Fancast.

Maureen McCormick Thankful Barry Williams Didn't Take Her Virginity
Former child actress Maureen McCormick is thankful she didn't lose her virginity to Brady Bunch co-star Barry Williams - because she's convinced the tryst with her on-screen brother would have sent her spiralling into a deeper depression.
McCormick speaks candidly about her long-running battle with drugs and depression in her forthcoming book Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice.
And the actress is adamant her condition would have worsened if Williams had succeeded in bedding her. Recalling the encounter, she says, "We were swimming in the pool. We we...

Former Brady Bunch pin-up Maureen McCormick has pledged to boycott Ben Stiller's war comedy Tropic Thunder as part of a protest about the film's use of the word retard.
The actress has joined activists who are protesting the movie's controversial scenes, which poke fun at the disabled. The protesters were out in force at the film's Hollywood premiere earlier this month.
In a blog post, McCormick writes, "I haven't seen the movie and I won't go see the movie because of what I've heard, but I want to add my two cents to the opinions on whether it's offensive to the mentally challeng...

Carnie Wilson Loses Weight By Cooking
Singer Carnie Wilson has found a novel way of losing weight - cooking for her reality TV pals. The Wilson Phillips star was asked by actress pal Maureen McCormick to help her run a Tennessee inn as part of an upcoming reality show.
Wilson spent a month with McCormick and R&B star Bobby Brown on the show, "Outsiders Inn" - and she was so busy cooking Southern treats for the cast and crew, she didn't have time to sit and eat with them.
The singer, who underwent a gastric bypass in 2000 and faces a constant battle with her weight, says, "I just wanted to feed people. I got to cook ev...

CMT's 'Gone Country' Is Surprisingly Entertaining
"Gone Country," a show in which mostly washed-up singers are resurrected as country stars, is the first show, to my knowledge, on CMT that I've watched in its entirety. I wouldn't call myself a country fan by any means, and at first glance this didn't seem like an appealing show at all. That was until I saw the lineup of goof balls that they had enlisted:
Dee Snider: He's the cross-dressing front man of Twisted Sister whose last major hit was over 20 years ago. I "met" him once in Chicago. He was going through a revolving door with me. I threw some metal horns at him with my hand...
