I think all the stuff she's doing to raise awareness is really great. It takes a real person to do what she's doing. Keep at it Jenny!

what makes me mad is i worked with jenny in chicago and now she thinks she is better than everyone else. She could of cared less about autism when her cousin had it but now that her own child has it she cares??? She didnt put playboy aside for her son, it was over as fast as it started for her.

i think shes stupid and a ditz. She used to be a stripper in chicago at sneak previews, i think she should of stuck to doing that the rest of her life.

See, Brit can learn something from Jenny. Jen use to be in PlayBoy but when it came to her son, she put all of that aside and focused on him. Instead of partying all the time...

Jenny is a mentor for me. She lke myself would give up her career for her child, which is pretty much what I have done, although worth it.

I plan on holding a mixed martial arts fight"Ultmate Fighting" event in Utah sometime this year in which all procedes will go toward finding a cure or better treatment for autism. This is a dream of mine to do in my autistic son's name. Jaxen Peacock. Who I am so proud of and wouldn't change for anything. Tim Peacock

All right some of these negative comments really offend me. No person like Jenny would use her son's disability to gain more publicity This makes me wonder if the people posting these comments are really concerned mothers or jealous puplicists looking for something to do. As a parent of an autistic child,I know she would trade all fame and fortune for the well being of her son. I know i would.

I'm sorry but after reading a rude credibility comment or two about Jenny's credibility, it offends me, because no matter a persons celebrity statis, we all are just looking for answers and I don't think jealousy is one of them.

I have a five year old son with autism just like Jenny and am so proud that she found a cure for her little boy. I am a profesional MMA fighter and am hoping to use my skills to raise autism awareness and to help find better treatment or a cure. Hopefully she could have some advice for me, as my son always comes first.

a REAL autism mom 1 Tue Oct 2 2007 15:59:14
What kind of credibility does this woman have? Never mind the Playboy bunny thing, or the Howard Stern thing, the Candies shoes- toilet-menstrual puddle thing... Now she comes across as a know it all- autism mom thing.

She has no long term experience dealing with an individual with autism. Her child is still quite young and Jenny has MUCH to learn.

It really irks me that because she is a very minor celebrity that she used her son's autism "to get back on the stage." Think about it, she has been known throughout her career to be "shocking" just to gain notoriety. It's a real shame because there have been parents who have for years been trying to get the truth out about autism. Ones who have been in the trenches for over a decade or two of wisdom and experience.

Jenny has set us back a couple of decades with very OLD information(1980's, 1990's, and now 2007...apparently it pops up every ten years when someone thinks they have new information)

All of you parent newcomers need to find new information. What Jenny is spouting is not cutting edge.

I should've been in touch with this delightfully versatile woman years ago.The other day, at a Borders, I thumbed through one of the books she's written and was just captivated by it. Then seeing her, for the first time, as a guest on today's View with Barbara Walters, I really have to send her this letter of appreciation for her lovely looks and her worthy intellect. I'm now eagerly looking forward to meet her in person.
Jenny! I rate you as an example of what confident womanhood needs to be. You possess all the attributes that should help place women at their rightful place in a world far too long run by many unworthy men. Let's all together build Bridges of sense and empathy rather than continue to erect Walls and Walls of prejudice greed hypocrisy and insane homicidal aggression
Am I struck by Jenny.....yes I so am.
If she ever gets to be shown these comments of mine,I do hope she'll drop me a line.

With all good wishes.

(I should be using the 900 odd characters, still available to my credit here, on hearing from Jenny.)

I read her book, you should to if you have a child or loved one with autism. She has opened my eyes to so many different options. If you are hopeless, don't bother to read it. Jenny owes no one an apology. A thank you is a MUST! So. Thank you Jenny, for this book. It is helping us help our son.

Hi Jenny;
In all honesty I must confess that until yesterday I didn't really know who you were. Yet while watching Oprah, in the blink of an eye you became my hero. I have a 12 year old son Trevor with autism and until you said the words, NOONE has ever told me that autism is reversable.
Please tell me what steps I need to take now. I was beginning to except "what will be will be".
Trevor goes to a d.d. school. He is non-verbal, he uses some signs and will direct you to what he wants. His meltdowns are not as frequent as they once were but they still exist. I thank you for the hope I so desperately needed.
Please guide me into what is next. I have no family support so I could use your imput.
Luv & hugs

Hi Jenny, I think that you are great! I think that you are such a strong women...which I admire and I think that it is great how you speak your mind. I am a single mom, I have a son who is 8 and a daughter who is 7 months old. I was just wondering if autism is only found in boys? I have a 7 month old daughter who is getting her shots and was very amazed at how you thought that it was caused from the vaccine MMR. It is very scary that doctors do not tell people about what these shots could do to their children...that just blows me away! Stay strong and keep on fighting!
Lots of love!
K.

i think, as a blonde Catholic national champ all academic former model blah blah, her strength, passion, fun, and lax and karmic attitude give me hope. plus she made me believe in Goddess and God, and even more equality for the innocent and equally perfect Atheists, Jewish brothers and sisters, and evangelical sisters and brothers
