	She proved her comedic talent in Laverne and Shirley - but proved to be an even greater talent as a director - particularly with Big and Awakenings. For the latter, she should have received the Academy Award for Best Director and the film should have gotten the Best Picture Award over Dances with Wolves. I find it interesting the only other comment here has to do with her appearance - and nothing about her talents. Unfortunately that's typical of today's pop-culture star worship. There are numerous physically attractive stars who often have very little or no real talent - but are idolized.
