Two Jews on Film - By Joan Alperin Schwartz: What would you do if you had the chance to go back to high school and do it all over again? Well, two bumbling rookie cops, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) get that chance when they're assigned to the long time dormant 21 Jump Street unit led by the perpetually pissed off Captain Dickson (Ice Cube)

Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis Go 'Gigli' With 'Relanxious'
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are bringing their off-screen romance to the big screen.
The real-life couple will play a make-believe couple plagued by all sorts of neuroses that put severe limitations on their relationship in the new romantic comedy, "Relanxious," according to Deadline.
"Relanxious" (not the best title in the world, is it?) chronicles the courtship between Barrett (Wilde), a young woman who suffers from extreme anxiety, and George (Sudeikis), a severe agoraphobic.
Their relationship is limited to a series of phone calls that consist of conversations about the dates the...

'21 Jump Street' Trailer: Jonah Hill And Channing Tatum Head Deep Undercover
The new trailer for the 21 Jump Street big screen reboot has dropped. It's based on the ‘80s TV procedural starring Johnny Depp, but Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are a whole new breed of cop.
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum go back to high school in the new 21 Jump Street trailer. While the set up comes from the original Johnny Depp television series, the tone comes straight from the raunch-tastic, explosive and very R-rated mind of Jonah Hill.
In the trailer below, foul-mouthed clowns Jenko and Schmidt team up in police academy and prepare to become "badass" cops… which turns out to ...

'The United States Of Tara’s' Season And Show Finale ‘Best Parts’
I am so going to miss The United States of Tara, and the finale exemplified many of the reasons why this show should have been renewed. The acting is superb, the characters well realized, and the comedy/drama fine line walked so exquisitely that the viewer truly doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
The season and show finale, “Best Parts,” began where the last episode ended – as Tara leaped from a bridge into the water below. Quick cut to Tara in an abandoned cellar, dunking alter Bryce headfirst into a vat of murky water. Between water-boarding dips, Tara tells Bryce that she deserves be...

Charmaine and Kate ask Tara why she hasn’t told Max about her new alter, Bryce. Bryce may be only 14, but he’s a homicidal maniac who’s been killing off the other alters, and tried to kill Dr. Hattaras through his allergy to seafood. Tara’s packed up all traces of Bryce, including the clothing of the ‘murdered’ alters, while taking heavy doses of her medication. Since Bryce has been forcing Tara to throw up the pills she’s swallowed, Tara is now snorting her meds. She doesn’t want to spoil Max’s trip, and has decided she’ll wait for his return, and his help in dealing with Bryce.

'United States Of Tara' - The Road To Hell Is Paved With Breast Intentions May 2
Tara, working outside, is bedevilled by a cawing crow. She transitions into Buck, who shoots the crow, then back into herself as Tara. While telling Dr Hatteras about the incident, she says that she thinks the contract they’ve made is really working out. He’s more concerned with what Tara is not telling him, like how she’s dealing with Max. She claims they’ve talking about his worries, but Hatteras says having sex instead of talking is not dealing with a problem. He’s concerned that she has settled for things being ‘fine.’

Recap: 'United States of Tara' 'Dr Hatteras' Miracle Elixir' April 27, 2011
Tara wants to drop her Abnormal Psychology class with Dr Hatteras, embarrassed by her performance during the test, in which all her personalities emerged. He refuses to let her drop the course, completely intrigued with the contract papers on which her personalities wrote. He’s obsessed with her condition, and wants to write a paper that will free him from his job at the college. She protests that she’s not a lab rat for him to study. He gives her a book he’s written about a patient he has helped, and tells her to read it.

'The United States Of Tara' The Full F.. You Finger Recap
Clearly Max and his mother are not close. When he calls to tell her he needs her signature to sell the family business, we find out she has psychological issues of her own, and is not fond of Tara. Tara’s got other issues, though, because she’s trying to organize Charmaine’s slightly pornographic baby shower – without very many guests. Plus, she’s about to be minus one child, as 19 year old Kate is leaving for Japan in the morning, to teach English as a second language.

'The United States Of Tara' Is CrackerJack! Re-Cap April 1, 2011
Tara’s first day back at college dawns, and Marshall is filming the events for posterity. Neil, asleep on the couch, wakes up to Charmaine’s demands for breakfast.
Neighbor Ted accompanies Tara to the campus, where they both see that they are much older than the average student. Tara’s first class, Abnormal Psychology with Professor Hatteras, has her nervous. As she enters the lecture hall, she transitions seamlessly into alter Dr Shoshonna Schomberg, who of course walks straight to the teacher’s desk to deliver the day’s lesson. She introduces herself as Prof Hatteras’ substitute while he...

'The United States Of Tara' Season 3 Premiere - Recap
Season Three’s opener ‘youwillnotwin’ reintroduces us to the Gregson’s, a typical American family, as long as the typical American family’s 2.5 kids has a .5 component of multiple altered personalities. Well, it’s really the mom that has the alters, but you get the drift.
These alters include Alice, the 50’s housewife, T, the out of control teen, Chicken, Tara’s 5 year old self, Buck, the male redneck biker, and Shoshanna, the therapist. They haven’t been seen in months, or so Tara believes. Tara’s son, Neil, is in the midst of his first real love affair with Lionel, while her daughter, K...
