The actress is also parting with Gregory Peck's military jacket and shirt from MacArthur, Harpo Marx's top hat and wig and a period dress worn on the big screen by both Ingrid Bergman and Angela Lansbury at the latest Profiles in History memorabilia sale.

Grace Kelly Biopic To Premiere At Cannes
Nicole Kidman's new Grace Kelly biopic Grace Of Monaco will open the Cannes Film Festival in May.

The news comes a day after movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and his producing partners scrapped the film's American March release following a dispute with director Olivier Dahan.

The La Vie en Rose director took aim at Weinstein in an interview last October, revealing there were "two versions" of the film - his and the movie mogul's.

Dahan said, "When you confront an American distributor like Weinstein, not to name names, there is not much you can do."

The Weinstein Company has inexplicably pulled Nicole Kidman's upcoming Grace Kelly biopic nearly two months before its expected release date.

The actress plays the legendary Hollywood star-turned-princess in "Grace of Monaco," and the film's release has been delayed for a second time.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the final film hasn't been released to the production company, causing issues for the marketing team.

Nicole Kidman's upcoming Grace Kelly biopic has had its release date pushed back as bosses rush to finish the film.

Grace of Monaco, which features Kidman as the actress-turned-princess, was scheduled to hit theatres in November (13), making it a contender for Hollywood's next awards season.

However, the drama is now out of contention as studio executives have set a new opening date for sometime next spring (14), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

To Catch a Thief hotel hit by jewellery heist

The French hotel where Grace Kelly and Cary Grant filmed scenes for their romantic thriller To Catch A Thief was at the centre of a jewellery heist on Sunday (28Jul13).

An exhibition featuring diamonds from jeweller Leviev was being held in the lobby of the Carlton Hotel in Cannes when thieves struck, making off with an estimated $53 million (£34 million) haul in what is allegedly the second-largest heist in France.

A Cannes police spokesman said, "A full and urgent operation is under way to catch the culprit and recover these jewels. Thieves see Cannes as rich pickings."

An exhibition celebrating the life of Grace Kelly will open in New York City next month, 25 years after the actress' death. The free event will be held at Sotheby's auction house from 15th to the 26th of October and will feature dresses worn by Kelly, as well as photographs, letters and home movies filmed in the 1940s.
