Fox has renewed the longest-running comedy for two more seasons, Seasons 24 and 25, which will include the show's 500th episode in February 2012, the network announced Friday.

The much-anticipated feature film based on the hit television series The Simpsons will premiere in theaters worldwide July 27, 2007, and producers are extremely enthusiastic. "We're very excited about the performances in this movie. Come next Oscars, we think it's going to be Milhouse's night," said producer Matt Groening.
