Was Bryan Cranston's hit AMC series Breaking Bad just a bad dream?

A spoof alternate ending that was shot for the show recently surfaced, and the clip features Cranston's former Malcolm In The Middle co-star Jane Kaczmarek reprising her role.

The clip starts with Cranston as his meth-cooking character Walter White, aka Heisenberg, before he suddenly wakes up from the middle of a dream as "Malcolm In The Middle" dad Hal. He sits up in bed and wake wife Lois (Kaczmarek), telling her, "I just had the scariest dream.

"I was this meth dealer," he adds. "Yeah. I was this world class chemist an...

Breaking Bad star Dean Norris uploaded a snap of Cranston and Kaczmarek last week, sparking speculation the actress had agreed to appear alongside her former TV partner.

Jane Kaczmarek
Jane Kaczmarek has revealed she underwent two hip replacement surgeries while she was playing mom on hit TV comedy "Malcolm In The Middle."

Kaczmarek admits she was crippled with pain when she had the first procedure and immediately regretted not having it sooner.

Speaking on TV show "Access Hollywood Live," she says, "I had had my third baby, I was 47 or 48 and it was time. That's one of the things I'm really eager to talk to people about - go to a doctor if you're having these symptoms. I waited way too long.

"The symptoms I experienced were groin pain and waking up in the middle of th...

Mark-Paul Gosselaar joins us to discuss the second season of "Raising the Bar" (premiering June 8 at 10 pm on TNT), his time on "NYPD Blue," the Jimmy Fallon "Saved By The Bell" reunion and also tries to wrap his head around a question that he's never heard before: How three Indiana junior high school students (on "Good Morning, Miss Bliss"/"Saved by the Bell: The Junior High Years") could all, a year later, find themselves living in California for their freshman year of high school, along with their junior high principal, with no explanation.

Mike: The first question would usually be,...

Being Green Is Great, But Is Hollywood Taking Recycling Too Far?

September 26th, 2008 10:20am EDT
Jerry Oconnell
Is there such a thing as a show-a-holic? A glimpse at the TV guide shows certain names keep cropping up time and time again attached to new shows. Could certain actors be addicted to starring on TV? And will they do anything to keep working whether the show is a quality one or not?

Isn't addiction classified as doing something to the point of excess, even after the point at which the person knows it's not healthy for them anymore? If the answer is yes then there are a few actors working today who show signs of needing serious career detox and rehab.

Case in point: the new TNT ser...

Must See (& Must Skip) New Dramas This Fall

August 27th, 2008 8:40am EDT
My Own Worst Enemy
Christian Slater has only one facial expression. His eyebrows are permanently arched in a slightly questioning yet slightly sinister gaze; he has a five o'clock shadow that no pancake makeup ever seems to hide; and his eyes are dark and brooding, appearing beady and almost dead without the proper glint from three-point lighting.

Yet NBC's My Own Worst Enemy (Monday nights at 9 p.m. starting Oct. 13) have him playing two very distinct men: Henry, the slightly dippy family man living in pre-fab suburbia, and Edward, a Jason Bourne-esque operative for a se...
