Zach Braff has cast Kate Hudson as his wife in his new Kickstarter.com-financed movie Wish I Was Here.

Fans helped fund the project with donations to the website, and now Braff is working on securing his cast.

The film will also star Josh Gad, Mandy Patinkin and Jim Parsons.

Braff will also direct Wish I Was Here, which he wrote with his brother Adam.

Kate Hudson got pregnant just two months after she began dating Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, and the actress opens up about their relationship and family life in the May issue of ELLE UK.

Hudson reveals that things were going well for the couple in the beginning, and when she revealed her unplanned pregnancy to Bellamy, he was there for her.

"It was all very old-fashioned and proper and we went on lovely dates," she says, "but two months later I was pregnant."
