* Shakira is staging a charity concert in her home town of Barranquilla on November 15 to raise funds to build a bilingual school. The hitmaker hopes up to 1,800 children who were made homeless by Colombia's civil war will attend the school, which will be named after her Pies Descalzos (Bare Feet) foundation. The school is expected to open in 2008 in the poor La Playa suburb.
