'Arrow': 10 Can't-Stop-Sobbing Moments From 'Left Behind'

January 22nd, 2015 11:05am EST
'Arrow' Recap: 10 Can't-Stop-Sobbing Moments From 'Left Behind'
We kinda figured that this first post-midseason-finale episode of "Arrow" would be an intense one.

Oliver Queen did die, after all. That's cause for some intense emotions to bubble up to the surface of this already very emotional superhero show.

But by no means were we expecting that much emotion. "Left Behind" was like a superhero funeral dirge. The equivalent of a small mountain of superhero-strength Kleenex.

Some serious sad times.

Alright, enough moping around- let's get to this week's list.

10. Diggle is the New Arrow?

It sure seemed that way, didn't it. Crooks are doing crook-li...

'Arrow': 10 Heart-Stopping Moments From 'The Climb'

'Arrow' Recap: 10 Heart-Stopping Moments From 'The Climb'
Oh, mid-season finale cliffhangers. How cruel you are.

But few are as cruel as "Arrow"- because we can't even call "The Climb's" ending a "cliffhanger." That implies Oliver still had the hand strength to hang off a cliff edge, and at the end of this hour he was way too stabbed-to-death to handle that.

Really, this is more of a cliff-flopper. Cliff-dier, maybe.

But it was a pretty intense way to end a year of "Arrow," so let's not overthink the semantics. Instead, let's get down to the last "Arrow" countdown of 2014.

10. The League of Assassins Goes Kill-Crazy!

Ra's al Ghul is not a pat...

'Arrow': 10 Heart-Wrenching Moments From 'Draw Back Your Bow'

November 20th, 2014 10:06am EST
Arrow
Do we have an overarching storyline for this season of "Arrow" yet? Season one was Robert Queen's little black book and the Dark Archer, while season two was Slade Wilson's revenge. Season three seems like it'll hinge on Sara's murder in the same way, except that story seems to have faltered recently.

Roy's innocent (well, innocent of Sara's murder, anyway), and the case has gone cold. We're closing in on the season's halfway point- things should hopefully pick up soon, and we'll see just what "Arrow" has planned for the long haul.

But for now, a villain-of-the-week story like "Draw Back...

'Arrow': 10 Mind-Blowing Moments From 'The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak'

November 6th, 2014 9:18am EST
The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak
Felicity doesn't get too many episodes to herself, does she? And she definitely doesn't get flashbacks. So just on that alone, "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak" is an "Arrow" outing that stands tall above the rest.

Also, it wins major points in the "Coolest Episode Title of the Season" competition (not that there were any other real contenders. "The Magician?" Pass).

But more than that, "The Secret Origin" was another "Arrow" jammed with gasp-worthy moments and solid character work. Even if the action wasn't too hot this time around. Now let's dig into this week's list.

10. Hey, Look...

'Gossip Girl' Recap: 'There Might Be Blood'

November 4th, 2008 10:43am EST
Gossip Girl
Two words - Jenny Humphrey. Gossip Girl's leading lady of the night was definitely Jenny (Taylor Momsen). She spent all her time, money and effort into creating her own clothing line, J Humphrey Designs. With the help of model Agnes (Willa Holland) and her in-the-know friends Jenny had the gusto to throw a guerrilla fashion show in the middle of a ceremony honoring Bart (Robert John Burke) and Lily (Kelly Rutherford) Bass for their contributions to the New York Philanthropic Society.

All the glory didn't come easily for Jenny. She'd been dealing with drama ever since she decided to lea...

Her dry spell from Chuck (Ed Westwick) has her taking matters into her own hands, literally. Chuck won't give Blair the time of day unless she says "I love you." So, Blair has a conundrum; the only thing to do when one has a conundrum brewing is to talk to the best friend. 'The OC' Cast Says Goodbye

February 15th, 2007 12:45pm EST
The OC
Following are some quotes from The O.C. cast about the series finale. Quotes from Peter Gallagher:

“I think it will be remembered for a really vibrant first season that captured a lot of imaginations around the world and gave families a chance to watch a show together -- mothers and fathers and kids -- that they could both enjoy and the show found at least briefly a happy marriage, between comedy and drama.”

“I guess my favorite moment was the day I read the pilot script. That was very exciting. And I certainly loved singing in the second season. And you know, frankly, I have had ...
