Which 'Terminator' Star Is Selling Their Malibu Home?

March 13th, 2012 11:58am EDT
The Terminator
Terminator star Linda Hamilton is placing her peaceful Malibu villa on the market.

Hamilton was the gun-wielding rebel Sarah Connor in The Terminator series, but appears to like things a little more tranquil in her private life.

The actress now, 55, has owned this peaceful Malibu property since 1995, but has just put it on the market for $5.4 million.

The 4,754-square-foot residence features open-plan living spaces, vaulted wood-beam ceilings, terra-cotta floors, a sky lighted kitchen, two fireplaces, a bar, five bedrooms and 41/2 bathrooms.

The more than one-acre property includes ...

TV on DVD: 'Chuck: The Complete Fourth Season' [Blu-Ray]

October 13th, 2011 2:17pm EDT
Chuck
In case you missed it, NBC's Chuck is moving to Fridays for its final season beginning October 28. To prepare you for the end of one of TV's cult hits, Warner Home Video recently released the complete fourth season on Blu-Ray and DVD. Here's an evaluation of the Blu-Ray edition.

The Show

I reviewed Chuck throughout the fourth season, and on second glance, my opinions haven't changed all that much. There are a lot of things that work, and some that just don't - which makes it pretty much like every other TV series out there. I have yet to see any show have a perfect season. What ...

July 20th, 2011 8:13am EDT
Linda Hamilton
Actress Linda Hamilton has pleaded with a U.S. Marine to invite her to an upcoming military ball after Betty White turned down his offer.

Sergeant Ray Lewis became the latest military man to invite a celebrity as a date after asking the ageing Golden Girls star to the Marine Corps Ball in November in a video posted online over the weekend.

Unlike Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, who have both accepted invites to attend other military balls, White turned down the offer due to scheduling conflicts.

But now The Terminator star Hamilton has reached out to Sgt. Lewis, suggesting she goes a...

'Terminator 2': 20 Years Later

July 3rd, 2011 2:00pm EDT
Terminator 2
Can you believe that sci-fi epic Terminator 2: Judgment Day is now two decades old?

July 3, 1991, the sequel to 1984's The Terminator stormed into theaters, and has since become one of the biggest science-fiction films of all time. Fans and critics alike embraced the second chapter of the story, which took a unique tack: turn the villain of the first flick into the hero of the second. A T-800 model Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) was sent back in time again - not to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), but to protect her and her son John (Edward Furlong) from being killed by the ...

'Chuck' 4.22 'Chuck Versus The Cliffhanger' Review

May 17th, 2011 12:04am EDT
Chuck
Chuck played by the numbers: it set up a big event (Chuck and Sarah's wedding) for its big finale, an episode which you can consider even bigger as we now know it also sets the table for the show's fifth and final season. It wasn't the whiz-bang finale I was expecting after all the hype, but it was one that was true to what the show stands for, and that's good enough for me.

To save Sarah, Team Bartowski must get the antidote she needs from Alexei Volkoff, which pits them against hardened CIA operative Clyde Decker (Richard Burgi of Desperate Housewives and The Sentinel). True to...

'Chuck' 4.20 'Chuck Versus The Family Volkoff' Review

April 12th, 2011 12:00am EDT
Chuck
I wouldn't want to be Vivian Volkoff. Especially not since she's evil these days.

The CIA has fingered her as personally responsible for the bombs planted in Castle last time out, and tagged her for assassination. Vivian pleads innocence, and Chuck is forced to turn to her father, Alexei (Timothy Dalton, still in fine form) to help prove it, starting with finding all the components of a weapon she unearthed in his arsenal. This takes them to Somalia (hello, blatant Windows Live product placement!), where one piece is in the hands of a gambling-addicted pirate. It's pretty funny to se...

'Chuck' 4.13 'Chuck Versus The Push Mix' Review

February 1st, 2011 6:54am EST
Chuck
It's been said that this week's Chuck was written as a potential series finale, and it certainly did feel as if it could double as one. "Chuck Versus The Push Mix" certainly packed a lot into one installment, but thankfully, it's not going to be the last.

Casey is in the hospital after last week's tumble, but even that doesn't stop him from making sure that Chuck gets the Hydra fragment that Sarah instructed him to deliver. Now that's dedication. Chuck's own commitment to his orders is wavering as he sees everyone in his life falling apart because of the machinations of Alexei Volkoff...

Linda Hamilton: 'I Voted For Schwarzenegger'

July 24th, 2007 5:46pm EDT
Linda Hamilton
Terminator star Linda Hamilton voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 2003 Governor of California elections, even through she's a fervent Democrat. The actress, who played resistance fighter Sarah Connor in the first two Terminators, initially refused to vote for her Republican co-star when he first ran for office - but quickly changed her mind.

She says, "I'm a strong Democrat and when people asked me if I was going to vote for him, I said, 'No.' But I did because he adapted. I respect him so much for his balanced approach, his incredible drive and the fact that he is not in it for ...

The Terminator will be back, thanks to a new takeover by entrepreneurs Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson. The pair have bought the rights to the film franchise, which has already scored three blockbuster hits, from producers Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar, and they're planning to have a fourth film in cinemas by 2009.

It's unlikely that Arnold Schwarzenegger will return as the title character and no director has been attached to the fourth Terminator film. The new movie will center around character John Connor, who was a teenager in the first Terminator films, as he leads mankind on a fut...
