Celebrities That Turn 30 in 2012
It's hard to believe for many of us the 1982 was 30 years ago. In that year, Ronald Reagan was President, Joe Montana was the Superbowl XVI MVP and the space shuttle Columbia made its first mission.

In movies, E.T., Tootsie and Gandhi ruled the box office while Chariots of Fire took best picture at the Academy Awards that year. Also taking home Oscar gold for best actor and actress in 1982 respectively were Katharine Hepburn and Henry Fonda for On Golden Pond. In music Michael Jackson released Thriller which sold more than 25 million copies, becoming the biggest selling album in history.

Mendes' representatives moved swiftly to quash any speculation of a romance, branding the reports "Utter nonsense. Untrue and ridiculous."

Will Ferrell: 'Everything Must Go' Was A New Challenge That I Really Wanted To Try'

5/11/2011 6:00pm EDT
Will Ferrell Everything Must Go
Will Ferrell’s new movie is a bit more dramatic than his usual comedies. In Everything Must Go, he plays a man who comes home to find all his belongings on the front lawn after his wife leaves him. He is also an alcoholic so has a few binges in the movie, and Ferrell plays it straight.

“I’m getting the question, were there moments you were tempted to make them funny,” Ferrell said. “I don’t think you can sit down to read a piece of material like this and start earmarking it with ‘Ah, this would be funny. I should barf on myself here. I know how to spice that up.’”

There are funny moments ...

Review: 'Everything Must Go' 'Two Jews On Film' Don't Go For Will Farrell's Dramady (Video)

5/11/2011 11:29am EDT
Everything Must Go
'Everything Must Go' is based on a short story by Raymond Carver. The film is directed and adapted for the screen by Dan Rush and stars Will Ferrell as Nick Halsey, a man who's definitely on his way down.

Nick is a career salesman who has always been on the top...but not anymore. The film opens with Nick being fired. If that isn't bad enough, Nick arrives home to find that his wife has changed the locks and thrown all his possessions out on the front lawn. What's a guy to do? Well since Nick is an alcoholic, the answer is beer...a lot of beer.

So in between guzzling...

Tribeca Review: Will Ferrell Shows Us He Can Do More Than Comedy In 'Everything Must Go'

4/28/2011 11:15am EDT
Everything Must Go
A few years ago, funnyman extraordinaire Will Ferrell gave us Stranger Than Fiction, a serious movie that just happened to be funny. This time he teams up with writer/director Dan Rush for Everything Must Go, a funny movie that just happens to be serious. Ferrell plays Nick Porter, an excellent salesman who gets fired from his cushy job because of a little drinking problem. Well, a big drinking problem. He arrives home to find that his luck hasn’t changed—his wife has changed the locks on the doors to the house, and to boot she puts all of his stuff out on the front lawn. (We’re talking all...

Ben Affleck has been terrified of flying ever since his airplane caught fire in mid-air when he was nine.

"The Town" director flew alone from Boston, Massachusetts to Washington, D.C. for an acting job, but he was left fearing for his life when the plane was struck by lightning.

He recalls, "The pilot came on and said, 'One of the engines is on fire.' So I got really scared and really nervous."

Trailer Talk: This Week in Movies - 'The Town,' 'Easy A,' & More

9/13/2010 9:37am EDT
The Town
I still have not seen George Clooney’s latest film “The American,” however it is high on my list right now. My new neighborhood has a theater where it is playing, so hopefully I can catch it soon. In addition to Affleck’s Boston-based thriller “The Town,” at the theaters this week you will have the opportunity to see the Emma Stone teen comedy “Easy A,” the elevator horror movie “Devil,” the drama “Never Let Me Go,” the romanc...
