From Apple To Zowie: The Craziest Celebrity Baby Names
Uma Thurman and her French financier boyfriend Arpad Busson revealed the name of their newborn baby girl this week, and the tot's title is a mouthful.
Not content with the typical first/middle/last -- or in this case hyphenated last -- name, the little girl surely has a challenging future ahead of her when it comes to filling out any types of forms.
The couple named their three-month-old Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson. Where they got her nickname, "Luna," from is a mystery; but their rep says each name has a special reason and meaning.

TV on DVD: 'Brothers & Sisters: The Fifth and Final Season'
This week, ABC Home Entertainment released the fifth and final season of the award-winning Brothers & Sisters. Here's my review of the five-disc DVD set.
The Show
Brothers & Sisters (not to be confused with the late ABC series Sons & Daughters) feels familiar, because its cast is composed of many people who have had previous defining roles on television. Sally Field had her acclaimed guest stint on ER. Calista Flockhart will always be the title character from Ally McBeal to many people. Rachel Griffiths previously had a major role on Six Feet Under. These are people you've probably ...

Rachel Griffiths Gives Birth To A Daughter
Actress Rachel Griffiths has welcomed her third child with husband Andrew Taylor.
The Australian star gave birth to a baby girl last week and is ecstatic with the new addition to her brood. Griffiths and Taylor are already parents to five-year-old son, Banjo Patrick, and Adelaide Rose, three.
However, the news might not be welcomed by Griffiths pals - who insist the star is a much nicer person when she's pregnant.
She explained before the birth, "Apparently I'm really nice pregnant. The wardrobe department begged me never to have this baby. They said, 'We love you pregnant; you'...

'Brothers & Sisters' Star Looking For A New Job?
Sienna Miller's on-off boyfriend, Balthazar Getty, is heading to jail as part of a storyline in hit TV drama Brothers & Sisters. The actor, who plays Tommy Walker on the show, has long been the subject of firing rumors, following his affair with Miller in 2008.
Insiders claimed the romance had caused a rift between Getty and his co-stars, but the actor recently insisted there were no problems on the set, claims backed up by his TV sister Rachel Griffiths.
Earlier this month, Getty told TV Guide, "There were all these stories that the set was divided... but we're family. You have u...

Who Will & Who Should Win An Emmy
Ah, the Emmys, the most entertaining awards show and often the most frustrating. Why is it so frustrating? Because the voters get it wrong. They get the winners wrong more often than casual sports bettors. In fact, they get it so wrong that predicting the winners is often a fool's errand since it's impossible to determine what will strike the Academy's fancy as the reasons for their choices are as mystifying as the results.
Luckily, Starpulse.com has one such fool. So it's time for a round of everybody's favorite game: Who Will Win and Who Should Win?

Spotlight On Australian Entertainers
What is it about Aussies that Americans find so fascinating? Is it the cute accents? The laid-back attitudes? The "party animal" reputations? It could be a mix of all of these traits. It could also be because, although we speak the same language and our cultures have many similarities, many of us know very little about Australia. That strange yet familiar vibe makes those down under denizens appear exciting and mysterious - an irresistible combo!
Since Americans are also fascinated with celebrities, it's no surprise that so many awesome Aussie entertainers have found fame in the U.S. ...

Emmy Nominations Reaction: Who Was Snubbed, Who Shouldn't Be A Nominee
With the writer's strike a distant memory and an exciting new fall season dead ahead, we're finally ready to celebrate TV again. And what better way than with a lavish awards show?
Yes, the Emmy nominations were revealed at dawn in Los Angeles Thursday morning in a delightful little ceremony that saw Neil Patrick Harris and Kristin Chenoweth squeeze about two-dozen jokes in between their reading off the teleprompter.
There were surprises leading to gasps from the press, and plenty of nominations they all saw coming. Newcomer "Mad Men" led the drama category with 16 nominations w...

TV Stars Who Deserve Emmy Nominations On July 17, Part 1
Last week, I helped the Emmy panelists decide upon which series to cast their vote for, and now it's the actors' turn.
The Emmy blue ribbon panel received a group of lists from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences last week. These were top ten lists from which they were to select the five nominees for the big Emmy show. They will view select episodes from each nominee and base their decision on what they see.

TV On DVD Recommendation: 'Six Feet Under'
A very eclectic recommendation for a very eclectic series that those without premium channels have only heard about. Alan Ball's ("American Beauty") landmark HBO series "Six Feet Under" seamlessly blended family drama and whimsical fantasy into the morose confines of a funeral home.
"Six Feet Under" tells the story of the Fisher family. They are a Southern California clan no more dysfunctional than the usual 21st Century family with a few wrinkles: they run a funeral home and their patriarch, Nathan Fisher, Sr., (Richard Jenkins) is hit by a bus in the series premiere.

What Might Have Been: A Different Perspective on 'Brothers & Sisters'
I used to think that there was no crisis facing the Walker family that they would not rise to face. I was wrong. It seems that during the circus that is the writers strike, ABC quietly ousted show creator Jon Robin Baitz from "Brothers & Sisters."
I found this out not in a news story, but rather in an article Baitz posted on the Huffington Post. In his article he described his life in Los Angeles, his work on the show, the compromises that were made and the eventual parting of ways between Hollywood and himself. What got me thinking was his mention that if "Brothers & Sisters" was on ...

Golden Globes Ceremony May Be Cancelled But We Still Have Our Predictions
The writers' strike has officially infiltrated awards season. The Golden Globes have been reduced to a lackluster news conference. That means no best and worst dressed list. No boozy celebrities making a fool of themselves. All that remains is an hour-long meeting at the Beverly Hilton Hotel with angry WGA picketers surrounding the premises.
So, until the Hollywood powers-that-be finally buckle down and give the writers what they want and deserve, we here at Starpulse are going to call the winners and losers. We looked at reviews, other expert predictions, viewer attitudes and who we ...
