Eddie Griffin and Tracy Morgan In The Running for Role Of ODB In Biopic
Ol' Dirty Bastard's life story is still coming to a theater near you … eventually. The rapper also known as Dirt McGirt, Big Baby Jesus or just simply ODB died in 2004, and in 2009 his cousin and fellow Wu-Tang Clan member RZA mentioned a biopic was a possibility.
In a recent interview with XXL, RZA dished some details on the project, and it sounds like it's moving into high gear. Not only that, it's attracted the attention of "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan and actor Eddie Griffin.
It looks like Griffin is the more likely choice to play ODB, for now, if only because the two were friends. R...

Blu-ray Interview: Oscar Nominee Robert Forster Jives About Jackie Brown, Being Max Cherry and Going Slow For David Lynch
Other then the obvious lure of Quentin Tarantino himself, ardent movie fans would be hard pressed to argue that the calm cool of Robert Forster’s Max Cherry isn’t the real icing on "Jackie Brown’s" lovingly layered cake. As the very thoughtful ying to Pam Grier’s cunning yang, Forster gives such a pitch perfect portrayal of a humble aging bail bondsman that he even nabbed a well-deserved Oscar nomination for his movie-stealing work. Having seen early Forster roles in films like "Reflections in a Golden Eye," "Medium Cool" and even "Alligator," movie freak Tarantino knew that the underused...
READ MOREPam Grier Feared Richard Pryor's Drug Use Would Harm Her Insides
Seventies pin-up Pam Grier and comedian Richard Pryor's doomed 18-month romance ended when he took issue with her requests for him to wear a condom during sex.
The actress' doctor told her that cocaine-user Pryor's sperm was harming her body because it contained traces of the drug.
And he insisted she should demand protected sex.
Appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Thursday to promote her new memoirs, "Foxy: My Life in Three Acts," the Foxy Brown star revealed, "There was an epidemic of a lot of people doing cocaine and it accumulated in the body and often in the prostrate gland and i...

7 Not-So-Scary Movies
Halloween is slowly approaching and you know what that means; a time for endless costume parties and for the sentimental ones, a time to cuddle up in front of the TV screen to get a healthy dose of scary movie marathons. Though there are oodles of horror films begging for the dust to be blown off of them, there are the others that are not worth pressing the play button on - simply because they tend to lack the scary in scary movies. Here are 7 films whose fright level is hardly lukewarm.

Best Space Movies
The subject of space is a difficult one in terms of selecting films. Qualifying elements are somewhat subjective. Does the film have to take place in space? Must it include aliens? Does a mere reference to space, or different planets, make it a "space" film? In short, is it merely a subgenre of science fiction? Space and science fiction, while not mutually exclusive, can occur without the other.

The Best & Worst Films By Quentin Tarantino
The serendipitous career of eccentric movie producer, director and writer Quentin Tarantino is a complex one. Tarantino has made a name for himself by creating nonlinear storylines and filming multiple perspectives from different characters in his movies - a technique that strays from the more commonly used straight-time storyline.
His films are not off the wall, but they invoke an element of surprise that comes from the small details within a scene that catches one off guard and by adding mysterious elements that never get explained. A good example of this was in Pulp Fiction when M...

The Image of Black Women in Entertainment
Where in the world are black women in today's entertainment? There is a significant dearth in quality images of African-American women in television and film. And no, Oprah's un-Godly success and stature doesn't diminish this truth.
It wasn't always like this. In 1968, Diahann Carroll starred in the ground breaking series "Julia." Heralded as being the first series to star a black woman in a non-stereotypical role, "Julia" produced 86 episodes and Carroll earned herself a golden globe.
