The Cast Of 'Archer' On Season 7

7/16/2015 4:06pm EDT
'Archer' Cast & Producers Tease Season 7 At San Diego Comic-Con
We had to do a little intelligence gathering at last week's San Diego Comic-Con, seeing what we could find out about the upcoming seventh season of FX's Archer. The cast and producers were only through the first two episodes of the new cycle, but here are a couple of the hints and teases we got out of them. Obviously, SPOILER ALERT!

"We're doing something a little different this coming season," revealed creator Adam Reed. "[We've] got some new locations going on, some fresh new looks. Not necessarily a new era. Just people are going to be wearing some different clothes.

"It's still high-s...

'Archer' Season 6: Judy Greer Talks Cheryl After Cherlene

'Archer' Season 6: Judy Greer Talks Cheryl After Cherlene
Season six of Archer means that Cheryl/Carol is back to being just your regular, garden variety...horribly inept, mentally disturbed executive assistant. She may have left her country music career behind, but she's still just as crazy.

We chatted earlier this week with Judy Greer, who lends her voice to Cheryl or whatever her name is this week, to get her point of view on this season's shenanigans and what has made Archer so popular that people ask her to scream "You're not my supervisor!" into their cell phones.

"There was one major thing that happened this season that blew me away," she...

Celebrities That Turn 40 In 2015
Welcome to 2015 – Big milestones start at around forty so we thought we'd take a look back to the year of 1975 to see who was born that year and what major events transpired.

In 1975 the Vietnam War officially ended as communist forces took Saigon. The average price of gasoline that year was .72 cents while work on the Alaska Pipe Line began. Other historic notes included BIC's launch of the first disposable razor; Microsoft became a registered trademark; Motorola obtained the first portable mobile phone patent; the Altair 8800 microcomputer was released and Ex-teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa va...

11/23/2014 5:15pm EST
Jurassic World
The first trailer for the fourth "Jurassic Park" movie, "Jurassic World," is set to premiere on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27.

Starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the latest installment in the series, which takes place 22 years after the events of the first film in the series.

The original Jurassic Park, located on Isla Nublar, off the coast of Costa Rica, has now been fully developed by Simon Misrani (Irrfan Khan, "Life of Pi") and is a fully functional theme park that drew in nearly 100,000 guests in its first month of operation, according to the website Masrani Glob...

'Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes' Review: Brilliant, Breathtaking And The Best Of The Franchise

7/13/2014 4:16am EDT
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Rarely is a sequel better than the original. Of course, there are exceptions, such as 'Godfather 2' and now 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.'

This film is absolutely fantastic on every level, starting with Andy Serkis as Caesar, the soulful, emotional, kind and fair ape that we met in 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' which starred, James Franco.

Right off the bat, I have to say that Serkis is amazing. He gives such a beautiful, nuanced performance that we, as an audience, are able to feel everything that Caesar feels and thinks. The film, shot in 3D, is brilliantly directed by Matt Reeve...

‘Archer’ Cast Interviews From New York Comic Con 2013

10/30/2013 3:30pm EDT
The season five premiere of Archer is still about two and a half to three months away, which meant the cast of the animated spy series wasn’t willing to share too much scoop at New York Comic Con earlier this month.

The question most asked – and dismissed quickly with no answer for fear of spoilers – was the identity of Lana’s baby daddy.

What scoop we were able to learn can be found below in some quick video interviews with the cast. (Why no interview with H. Jon Benjamin? He was running a bit late that day unfortunately.)

Interview with Jessica Walter (Malory Archer)

Fashion Fails: Miley Cyrus Splits Her Pants And Much More

6/15/2013 9:07am EDT
Bishop Don Magic Juan
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

We're not going to pretend to be experts in this realm, but this has to be a fashion faux pas from Bishop Don Magic Juan - even for a pimp.

Miley Cyrus is trying to go back to the year when she was born, 1992, but even back then Kris Kross didn't wear half-sweatpants, half-jeans.

Dionne Bromfield continues her tour of "animal skin dresses in the wrong color." Animal prints are cheesy enough, so why do we need a blood orang...

Arrested Development Trailer Begins 'Final Countdown' To Series Return

5/13/2013 7:07pm EDT
Arrested Development
With the return of Arrested Development coming in less than two weeks, Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming season of the hit comedy. Check it out below.

Seven years has changed a few characters, especially George Michael (Michael Cera) and Maeby Funke (Alia Shawkat). It appears George Michael is in college when his father Michael (Jason Bateman) walks in after he hears there is a girl in his dorm. That girl, of course, is cousin and object of affection Maeby.

Also shown are a few hints at plot, including Michael's move to Phoenix (where everything is too hot), an ostrich, an...

Ashton Kutcher Bought Judy Greer's Dad A Motorcycle

11/18/2012 3:57pm EST
Ashton Kutcher
Actor Ashton Kutcher bought Judy Greer's father a motorcycle after their sitcom was picked up by network bosses in 2008.

Kutcher was one of the producers behind Greer's short-lived comedy Miss Guided, and upon hearing the actress was planning to use her first pay check to purchase her dad a Harley-Davidson, the hunk beat her to it.

Greer tells TV host Anderson Cooper, "It's a long story, but he gave my dad a Harley-Davidson motorcycle as a gift because we worked together once. He produced a television show I was in, and he asked me, 'If they pick up this TV show, what are you gonna do?' A...

'Two And A Half Men' Recap – A Straw In My Donut Hole

5/8/2012 10:00am EDT
Two And A Half Men
This must be a dream. Alan’s returned from hospital to find a ‘Welcome Home’ greeting from his friends and family at the Beach House. Surely, we’re looking at a Two and A Half Men apocalypse.

In the last episode, Alan reacted to Walden’s decision to have Zoey and Anna stay at the Beach House by having a minor heart attack. Walden felt so guilty that he paid for Alan’s hospital stay, and allowed him to live with him for as long as he needed.

This week, Walden is being very solicitous of Alan, carrying his bags, and worrying about Alan’s health. When they return home from Alan’s second tr...

'Two And A Half Men' Recap – Golden Girls Gone Wild

4/10/2012 10:15am EDT
Two and a Half Men - Grandma's Pie
This week, the show picks up two story lines from the recent past – Walden’s on again/off again partnership with Billy Stanhope, and Alan and Lyndsey’s mothers getting together. But the real shocker is that Walden may actually be contemplating a change in the Beach House’s living arrangements; could Alan really, finally, have to grow up and move out? Hang on … in episode 13, back in January, Walden made a deal with Alan - Alan is now half owner of the Beach House, at least on paper. Alan doesn’t have any rights to sell the property, or to borrow against it, but he can tell women it’s his ho...

Two Jews' Review 'Jeff Who Lives At Home' (Video)

3/17/2012 12:00pm EDT
Jeff Who Lives at Home
Two Jews on Film - By Joan Alperin-Schwartz: We are all connected... Everyone and Everything... Nothing is random... There are signs everywhere.

Don't believe it?

Apparently you haven't seen M. Night Shyamalan's film 'Signs'.

Jeff (Jason Segel) has seen it many, many times. In fact, he's obsessed with it. And so Jeff waits... for a sign. While waiting, Jeff spends his days smoking pot and hanging out in his mother's basement apartment where he lives.

Jeff knows he's destined for something. He's just not sure what that 'something is.' But that's about to change, after our slacker gets...

'Two And A Half Men' Recap - The War Against Gingivitis

2/28/2012 10:24am EST
Two And A Half Men Recap - The War Against Gingivitis
When Walden has a dental floss emergency, it turns out that Alan is ‘a soldier in the war against gingivitis,’ with pockets full of a tasty selection, including cinnamon.

Bridget video calls Walden to let him know that his ex-partner, Billy, called about a business proposition. Apparently the last venture that involved Walden and Billy ended so painfully that even the mention of Billy’s name causes Walden’s eyes to start twitching, and drives him to scream into the night.

In their last partnership, Walden sold their computer idea for billions. But Billy didn’t want to sell, so he posted a...

'Archer' Recap: 'Bloody Ferlin' (3.09)

2/24/2012 1:39am EST
If I could have a crush on an animated gay man, it would be Ray Gillette. He's funny and generally saner than everyone else at ISIS, and completely deserving of his own Archer episode.

The saga begins when Lana and Archer find Ray (who is not actually paralyzed; he was just rolling with everyone else's assumption for the past six months) stocking up in the ISIS armory. "I kind of have some family problems," he tells them. His brother Randy is a "drug farmer" who's being targeted by the local sheriff, and he's intent on mounting a rescue mission. What interests Archer about this is tha...

'Archer' Recap: 'Lo Scandalo' (3.08)

2/17/2012 1:38am EST
Of all the things on Archer that can make me cringe (and there are many of them), the topic that always gets to me is any mention of Malory Archer's sex life. So here's an entire episode about that!

Archer and Lana are called over by his mother on a rainy Friday night because there's "a guy in a full-body latex cat suit" who's been shot to death in her apartment - and that guy happens to be the Prime Minister of Italy. It looks like the fatal end to an incredibly kinky sex game, and it kind of is. This is Archer. No one ever really dies normally, or with much dignity.

We find ou...

'Archer' Recap: 'The Limited' (1.06)

2/3/2012 2:41am EST
Sterling Archer has always wanted to fight on top of a train. In this week's Archer, he finally gets his wish, with hilarious results.

The agents of ISIS are helping to transport a Canadian prisoner back to well as Malory and her dozen-plus suitcases. Archer shows up wasted, having gotten the departure time wrong. The voice of reason is a black porter whose name actually is George. Yep, "The Limited" is a typical episode of Archer.

The transport is taking place via train, which means Archer can continue to get even more drunk in the dining car ("Do you even still get ...

2012 SAG Awards Fashion: A Skinny Angelina, Lots Of Black Gowns & More

1/30/2012 9:10am EST
2012 SAG Fashion
Many stars attended last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards, and black was one of the most popular colors on the red carpet.

Angelina Jolie showed off her particularly thin figure in a draped black gown. Other stars in black included Stacy Keibler, Jayma Mays, Amber Heard, Ashlee Simpson, Emma Stone, Glenn Close, Heather Morris, Tina Fey and Melissa McCarthy.

But there were some spots of color in the bunch, including Sofia Vergara's bright pink gown and Emily Blunt's seafoam green dress.

Check out all the looks on the following pages:

'Archer' Recap: 'The Man From Jupiter' (3.04)

1/20/2012 1:36am EST
Archer officially starts its third season with a great get: Burt Reynolds. Having Archer's hero in the house makes for a fantastic opening episode.

He comes into the picture when he and Archer are at the same bar; after trying and failing to pick up another random woman, Archer gets his face introduced to the bar by none other than his favorite actor. Unfortunately for Sterling, Burt Reynolds is there because he's meeting Malory for a date. Rather than throw up, as he would usually do, Archer decides to faint instead. "It was an involuntary reaction," he declares the next day, sp...

2012 Critics Choice Awards Fashion: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

1/13/2012 9:14am EST
Critics Choice Awards
Unlike the upbeat and youthful People's Choice Awards, the stars at Thursday night's Critics Choice Awards showed up in more subdued attire, taking their jobs much more seriously (and not in a good way).

Where was the pop of color? Where were the glittering gowns? We have one word for this bunch of celebs: boring.

Emma Stone continued her green trend from the People's Choice Awards in an emerald dress last night. But what's with the cutouts, strings and belt? Thumbs down.

We salute Elle Fanning for dressing her age, but we dislike the yellow and turqoise gown.

Check out all the good, ba...

'Two And A Half Men' Episode 13 Recap – How To Handle An Alan

1/3/2012 10:39am EST
Two And A Half Men Episode 13
When last we saw our ‘men,’ Walden had broken the news to ex-wife Bridget that he’d moved on. She was not pleased.

At the beach house, Walden’s just discovered that one of his investments has gone belly up. He’s lost $80 million dollars. Oops! Alan’s shocked that Walden can be so casual about the loss, but Walden’s not upset. That is, until Bridget calls, and reminds him that half of what he owns is hers. She wants control over his company.

In the city, Walden is called to a corporate stock holder’s meeting, which includes Bridget, Walden’s mother Robin, and Uncle Martin, Walden’s attorne...

The 27 Dresses star wed Johnsen at the Los Angeles Athletic Club on Saturday as their friends, family members and celebrity pals Rashida Jones, Jason Biggs and Sarah Chalke looked on.

A source tells, "The ceremony was filled with laughter amongst friends. Both the bride and groom seemed to have an amazing time celebrating the evening."

The couple, which began dating last year, announced its engagement in June.

'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' Recap: 'The High School Reunion Part 2: The Gang's Revenge'

12/16/2011 11:28am EST
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia” closed out its seventh season last night with the conclusion of last week’s high school reunion tale, and thankfully the second half was better than the first. Still, it didn’t come close to the high expectations I had for it. I may eventually come around on this (as I did with “The Nightman Cometh,” an episode I inexplicably didn’t like upon first viewing), but for now I’m calling it the series’ weakest season ender yet. (Oh, there will be rankings. Just wait.)

Picking up from where we left off last week, the gang is collectively humiliated. Dennis a...

Review: 'The Descendants' 'Two Jews On Film' Miss The Heart In Clooney's Latest Dramedy (Video)

11/14/2011 8:10pm EST
The Descendants
Two Jews on Film - By Joan Alperin-Schwartz: When 'The Descendants' directed by Alexander Payne (Sideways) started, I really expected to love it. I mean, the film is set in Hawaii, there's a woman in a coma, and it stars George Clooney.

Unfortunately, I had quite a different experience. I didn't hate this film, but I did find my mind wandering...thinking about my overweight dog that needs to go on a diet... Definitely not a good sign.

Okay, so here's the story... George Clooney plays Matt King. Matt is married but not the greatest of husbands. He has two children... but not the greates...

Two And A Half Men – 'The Squat And The Hover' - Recap

10/25/2011 10:16am EDT
Two And A Half Men
As Alan and Jake watch TV, Jake establishes that Alan is not paying any rent to Walden, and says he can’t wait until he grows up and finds a friend he can live off of. Walden enters, naked, carrying the mail, which contains a penis pump for Alan and Walden’s divorce papers. Walden is very upset about the papers, sure he’ll never find another soulmate. As he gestures wildly, Alan and Jake’s heads track the movement of Walden’s penis. When he leaves, the half man asks his dad to assure him he’s not stopped growing, and Alan hands him the penis pump box. Classy stuff!

Walden opts to burn all...

'Two And A Half Men' - Season 9 Episode 4 - 'Nine Magic Fingers'

10/11/2011 2:45pm EDT
Two And A Half Men
This week on 'Two and A Half Men': Berta has a new lease on life, enjoying the beach house, and the Malibu sands. She’s even having a morning run – with or without Walden. Alan is in a good mood, because he’s going to have a second chance with old girlfriend, Lyndsey. Walden, however, can’t get over Bridget, and is dealing with his loneliness by ‘curling up in a ball.”

After a nice dinner with Lyndsey, Alan brings her home, to find Walden in a deep funk. Berta’s got her own date – she’s upstairs with Big Daddy, beer, a bucket of chicken and Big Daddy’s ‘nine magic fingers.’ Walden, skypi...

'Two And A Half Men' - Big Girls Don’t Throw Food: Is The 'No Charlie' Series Catching On Yet?

10/4/2011 11:40am EDT
Two and a Half Men
With Alan now safely back at the Beach House, and Jake arriving for his weekend with Dad, Two and A Half Men are … two and a half men again. Alan, worrying about his status as a ‘guest’ in the house, asks for permission for Jake to sleep over, despite the fact that Walden finds Jake peeing into a potted plant. Walden’s in a good mood, as he’s just received an email from ex, Bridget, inviting him to dinner.

The first stumbling block to Walden rekindling his romance with Bridget occurs when she expects him to pick the place where they will have dinner. Since she’s always picked the restauran...

'Archer' 3.03 'Heart of Archness, Part 3' Review

9/30/2011 2:14am EDT
Sterling Archer's pirate saga concludes tonight, and that also means the end of our Archer fix until 2012. At least we have a great conclusion to hold us over.

Malory has realized that half the ISIS team has gone missing at the same time that Cyril discovers he must have drained the agency's accounts in his drunken rage. It's the makings of a very bad day - so unsurprisingly, it's the time when Archer has become a comedian, and not a very good one. He's still in the pirate dungeon, making jokes about (wait for it...) Dungeness crabs. He is useless to everyone trapped with him, but ...

'Two And A Half Men' - Life Without Charlie Episode 2 - 'People Who Love Peepholes'

9/27/2011 9:18am EDT
Two And A Half Men
The merriment continues with part two of the season’s premiere of Two and a Half Men. Now firmly ensconced in Charlie’s place, Walden continues to charm any woman in his vicinity, including Berta, who has developed an unnatural lust for the boy. The depth of Walden’s naiveté/stupidity is being revealed as he grapples with the bare necessities in life. Unable to cope even with his personal hygiene needs, he’s on the phone non-stop with ex-wife, Bridget, who is understandably annoyed at the constant requests.

It really begs the question: just how charming is a grown man who uses baby shampo...
