July 9th, 2012 12:44pm EDT
Linda Gray
Dallas star Linda Gray is urging fans to contact the show's producers and demand she is given scenes in every episode of the re-launched TV hit.

Gray and her fellow stars on the renowned program were brought back to small screens in the last month when the sex-and-scandal show re-launched on the TNT network after 21 years off air.

With a new generation of the famous Ewing family to consider, the writers have given Gray's character, Sue Ellen Ewing, a reduced amount of screen time - and she is asking her fans to help her win a bigger part.

Linda Gray
Dallas star Linda Gray was the first cast member of the iconic show to find out who tried to assassinate J.R. Ewing in its most infamous cliffhanger.

Producers of the sex-and-scandal drama, which returned to TV screens this week, kept viewers hooked in 1980 with a season-ending plot in which the backstabbing oil baron was gunned down by a mystery assailant.

Producers were so obsessed with keeping the identity of the gunman a secret until the next season eight months later that they went to extraordinary lengths to hide it even from the stars of the show - but now Gray has revealed she w...

May 11th, 2012 3:43pm EDT
Jesse Metcalfe
Actor Jesse Metcalfe was initially cautious to sign up for a starring role on the new Dallas revamp because he felt the TV industry was already flooded with too many series remakes.

The former Desperate Housewives star had just filmed another new TV show in Texas when he was approached to join the original cast members of the 1980s night time soap opera, Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray, for an updated version of the drama.

However, Metcalfe was "critical of the idea" and wasn't convinced a modern-day Dallas would be a hit - until he gave the script a proper read through.

Dallas Ad
Producers of the new series of legendary drama Dallas have made a cheeky reference to the show's most famous moment in a billboard advertisement for the relaunch.
