19 Of Our Favorite 'Real Housewives' In Bikinis

10/2/2013 9:04pm EDT
Real Housewives in Bikinis
On March 21, 2006 we were all introduced to The Real Housewives of Orange County: Kimberly Bryant, Jo De La Rosa, Vicki Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Lauri Waring -- five women living in an upscale gated community in OC whose lives were followed for the sake of entertainment.

Two years after the debut of the series, Bravo cashed in by adding another branch of the series, The Real Housewives of New York City, which made a star of series regular Bethenny Frankel, a former natural foods chef who has since gone on to release numerous best-selling books, create a cocktail company (which she then ...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Season 5 Finale

9/30/2013 11:24am EDT
Real Housewives of New Jersey
As all good things must come to an end, so must the fifth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Must they go out with such a whimper, instead of a bang, though? These are the women that made “prostitution whore” part of our lexicon, and nary a table was flipped this entire episode.

We start off at Kim’s salon opening from hell, Posche 2: the Reckoning, where Penny and the Gorgas are still screaming at each other about Twitter. Penny maintains, steadfast, that Teresa fed her all the information she ever tweeted about, and told her to say everything nasty she ever tweeted. I mean, it’...

'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Hair We Go Again

9/23/2013 8:52am EDT
Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Apparently it’s true that Justin Timberlake’s manager, Johnny, has shown interest in taking Melissa on as a potential new artist, and that wasn’t a strange dream I just had. In order to complete her demo, she has to fly down to Orlando (Joe’s going too because of reasons?) and stay at Johnny’s magical recording studio compound/human-sized mini golf castle.

The point of this trip is to whip Melissa into shape before recording her demo tape, after her disastrous session in her home studio. Before Johnny can take her around as one of his artists, she needs work. She’ll have to work with a voc...

'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: The Blonde Drops A Bombshell

9/16/2013 11:28am EDT
Teresa’s summary of the Arizona trip to her mother is hilariously succinct. “We went to Arizona and we went healing and we had SUCH a good time and now everything is better.” To Teresa, everything is so good that she can now invite her parents over for Sunday dinner. Her mother looks unconvinced, but sighs and agrees to come over. What’s one more table flip going to hurt?

Jacqueline has to face her fears and give a speech for an autism charity event (basketball is involved?), but the poor thing doesn’t even know where to begin. She looks petrified at the thought of getting on stage in fron...

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Zen Things I Hate About You

9/9/2013 10:37am EDT
The gang is still in Arizona for their cleansing retreat that’s supposed to be Melissa’s birthday party for a third episode, and it’s just finally getting dramatic. Caroline, not prompted by an unseen Bravo executive or anything, asks the room if they’re all happy with each other and their relationships. Joe Gorga decides to lay it all out.

He tells Teresa in front of everyone what he and Melissa think she’s been up to with Penny, and explodes.

Flash backward 12 hours earlier.

It’s the morning of Melissa’s birthday, and she’s enjoying some cuddle-action with her husband in bed when Teres...

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Horse Whisper to a Scream

9/2/2013 12:46pm EDT
Because Andy Cohen owes a favor to the guy who runs this resort, the gang is in Arizona for another episode of cleansing and healing in the Arizona sun. Poor birthday girl Melissa didn’t sign up for this; she begs Joe for poolside cocktails when he tells her they’re going on a special horseback riding exercise. Love and light, girl.

Turns out, they’re not riding the horses. You can see Melissa dying inside. It’s a horse therapy exercise with a gruff cowboy named Wyatt, who isn’t taking nonsense from anyone. He explains that horses can pick up on your energy and authenticity (your genuine n...

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Spaghetti Western & Meatballs

8/26/2013 1:30pm EDT
Teresa is having a cooking demonstration at what looks like a Bed Bath and Beyond to make grumpy middle-aged people kale bruschetta, when cousin Kathy stops by for a chat. Teresa tells her about everything that happened at the Milania Haircare party the night before with Penny and Jan, and is confident that things are alright with her and Melissa. After all, Penny told her and Joe that she had nothing to do with the cheating rumors.

But over at the Gorga mansion, Melissa and Joe are singing a different tune. As they pack for their trip to Arizona, they discuss how they’re both still uneasy...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Children Of The Scorned

8/12/2013 10:29am EDT
Last week’s discussion (fight? confrontation?) between Jacqueline and Teresa wraps up as the ladies get to the real meat of the problem: their incessant need to tweet every time they’re upset with each other instead of confronting their problems directly. But they agree to get over it, essentially, and move forward in their relationship in a new way. They’ll be civil – and maybe one day, they’ll be friends again.

Jacqueline and Kathy hit up a lingerie store later on to discuss her reconciliation with Teresa, and she reveals that she’s heading to Beverly Hills soon to get a tummy tuck and h...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Best Frenemies Forever

8/5/2013 10:25am EDT
In the wake of the most restorative bonding retreat in the history of trust building, all is calm and well in Franklin Lakes. Melissa goes to visit Joe with their sons at one of his construction sites, when he gives her some good news – Sizzle Tans wants the couple to appear on a series of billboards for the company.

Since Teresa was the star of a Sizzle Tans commercial several years ago, Melissa declines the offer so she won’t have something to fight about with her sister-in-law, and lets her husband star in the ad by himself. Are we all maturing already?

Things are so good, that Teresa ...

Joe and Teresa Giudice Post $500,000 Bond Each, Face 30 Years In Prison For Fraud

7/31/2013 12:04am EDT
Joe and Teresa Giudice
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice were indicted on 39 counts of fraud and tax evasion in a New Jersey federal court on Monday.

The couple were each freed on $500,000 bond, according to, and are scheduled for an arraignment hearing on August 14.

Both Teresa and Joe are facing lengthy prison sentences if they're convicted of the charges, which include mail and wire fraud, bank fraud and tax evasion.

The couple allegedly faked documents to secure property loans, failed to declare income in relations to their 2001 bankruptcy, and...

'Real Housewives' Stars Teresa and Joe Giudice Hit With Federal Indictment For Fraud, Tax Evasion

7/30/2013 8:55am EDT
Teresa and Joe Giudice
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe are facing bigtime criminal charges and face over 30 years in prison each if they're convicted.

The reality stars have been hit with a 39-count indictment from federal prosecutors, including tax evasion and bank, mail and wire fraud.

The couple allegedly lied in order to obtain over $4 million worth of loans from numerous banks from 2001-08, according to The New York Times, and they also withheld information from their 2009 bankruptcy filing.

Federal prosecutors said that the couple created pay stubs and tax forms from...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: On Thin Giud-Ice

7/29/2013 11:27am EDT
The tearful reconciliation between Joe and Teresa continues, thanks to blessed angel therapist Dr. V, with more talking and negotiation. The siblings absolutely have to get everything off their chests if they really want to move on. Otherwise this whole ordeal was a bust. Send in Melissa.

Melissa is summoned, albeit hesitantly, and she tells Teresa exactly why she feels so betrayed; even if Teresa doesn’t directly say terrible things about her sister-in-law, she is always conveniently in the room when they’re being said. If she truly cared about Melissa and didn’t wish her ill, she would s...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: When Joes Collide

7/15/2013 10:20am EDT
The key to a great episode of any Real Housewives franchise is to get the women out of town, in close quarters, to a luxury resort location where they are unable to escape. This episode of RHONJ is no exception.

The time came for Teresa’s trust-building relationship retreat, and her family geared up to inevitably throw down for the cameras. Tensions were running high, especially after last week’s altercation with Kim D and Melissa’s former best friend, Jan. Teresa is going into the retreat unaware that the others hate her/blame her for this incident.

As Richie says before they hit the roa...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Drinking With The Enemy

7/8/2013 10:21am EDT
Kathy decided to accept her test kitchen from her awful 1950s husband so she can get some work done in peace. In this oasis, she gets to work on cannoli recipes, and invite her friends Caroline, Jacqueline and Rosie over for gossip and taste-testing without Richie breathing down her neck. Rosie delights the ladies with the tale of her meeting with Teresa, and also floats the possibility of them all accompanying her on their “stress retreat.” That would be a firm “no” from all parties.

Teresa, once again reminds the cameras that her father is very ill, and that her parents and brother are t...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Everything Is Coming Up Rosie

7/1/2013 11:36am EDT
Grab your popcorn, because the aftermath of last week’s gym fight is about to begin.

Joe storms home after duking it out with Teresa to tell his wife all about the incident. But before he can even get to the good details, he discovers that the part about Melissa tweeting something catty to Teresa was true, and it makes him flip out. In a way, he has a point. He argues that he’s out there trying to defend her, while she’s trying to give Teresa a taste of her own medicine. Teresa may be wrong, but Melissa shouldn’t stoop to her level.

Melissa has her own fair point, which is that Teresa is ...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: Gym Rats

6/24/2013 11:12am EDT
Since nothing else in the entire world is happening at all, the Gorgas and the Giudices are still arguing about when Melissa went to visit her father-in-law in the hospital. The general consensus is: yes, Melissa went to the hospital, but Teresa is upset that she waited four days to do so. Melissa is a rational human being who didn’t want to give her gravely ill, elderly father-in-law pneumonia, so she didn’t go right away. Semantics.

Kathy is busy being boring and talking to Rosie and her mother about the same situation. She never went to see her uncle in the hospital because of her own f...

'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: It's My Party And I'll Fight If I Want To

6/17/2013 12:25pm EDT
Teresa is channeling her rage into a new hobby: working out in neon spandex. She tells her trainer that she’s working on planning Gia’s 12th birthday party. It’s the first co-ed birthday event, and she’s not looking forward to having boys in the picture. She’s not sure if Joe and Melissa are going to attend.

Jacqueline has found through her research that autistic children could benefit through a hyperbaric chamber bed, so that’s what they buy for Nicholas. Joe sees Jacqueline playing in this giant chamber with her son, and speaks in his Talking Head about how petty his problems are with hi...

'The Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Recap: A Manzo Of Her Word

6/10/2013 1:17pm EDT
If anything ever happens to Teresa Giudice, Milania will step right in and take her place. Teresa is doing her best to help the girls understand the importance of sisterhood and loving one another, but they’re not quite getting the message. Milania is obviously the star of the exchange, mimicking her mother’s speech as they eat dinner and make cards for their sick grandfather. God bless us everyone.

Joe and Melissa are still trying to sell the house that they promised to sell during the last reunion special to get away from Teresa. Blame the economy. The problem is that they’re asking for ...

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Garden State of Emergency

6/3/2013 11:15am EDT
The fifth season for Real Housewives of New Jersey opens on a somber note in November 2012, as all the women deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in their own way. Most of the families have houses down at the Jersey shore, and the wrath of the storm has all but destroyed their vacation homes. Fortunately, they all have enough humility to recognize onscreen that some people can’t go home to unaffected houses, as they live at the shore full time.

Now, you would think that a major disaster would bring the women together and make them realize that their normal fighting is petty, and sens...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Finale - Arsenio Hall Takes The Title!

5/21/2012 2:48pm EDT
'The Celebrity Apprentice' Finale - Arsenio Hall Takes The Title
Last week on Celebrity Apprentice: Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall, the Final Two, have been tasked with having to produce, host, and sell tickets to a celebrity charity event. They’ll be responsible for all aspects of the show, including creating a thirty second charity awareness ad, and producing a variety show to entertain their guests. They themselves will be the entertainment at their show. This week; the live finale.

Donald Trump lets us know that this is an important night – so important, that he’ll need the fastest car and driver possible to get to the show at the American Museum of Na...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' – The Final Task Ends On A Cliffhanger

5/14/2012 6:03pm EDT
Clay Aiken, Arsenio Hall Advance to Finale
Previously, on Celebrity Apprentice: the Final Five was whittled down to four, when Teresa Giudice project managed her team’s assignment to a loss. But the Donald was not finished yet; he brought in last season’s Celebrity Apprentice winner John Rich, and runner up Marlee Matlin, to interview Arsenio Hall, Aubrey O’Day, Clay Aiken and Lisa Lampanelli. Based on John and Marlee’s recommendations, he fired Lisa. This week, we’ll find out the second person chopped, and have one last challenge. Next week, the winner will be chosen. Ready?

Arsenio, Aubrey and Clay wait nervously for Trump’s dec...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' – Teresa Giudice And Lisa Lampanelli Are 'Blown Away'

5/7/2012 1:28pm EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
Last well, the celebrities were tasked with writing a jingle for Good Sam’s roadside assistance program. On Unanimous, Aubrey O’Day pushed her ideas forward, and teammates Teresa Giudice and Project Manager Arsenio Hall let her. On Team Forte, Dayana Mendoza micromanaged teammates Clay Aiken and Lisa Lampanelli to a loss, and it was Dayana’s turn, as Project Manager, to be fired.

This week on, Celebrity Apprentice: It’s the third to last episode of the series (ends May 20,) so hold on to your hats, folks. We have a task, followed by a Board Room firing, followed by an unexpected visit by t...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: Dayana Mendoza Takes Her Final Cat Walk

4/30/2012 3:24pm EDT
Dayana Mendoza Takes Her Final Cat Walk
Last week on Celebrity Apprentice: The teams created a slogan and display for Trump’s new scent for men. Although Dayana Mendoza’s photo on the banner was praised, she was brought back into the Board Room for the sixth time. However, it was Penn Jillette’s losing slogan that led to his firing.

Aubrey O’Day, Teresa Giudice and Arsenio Hall are all that remain of Team Unanimous, while Clay Aiken, Lisa Lampanelli, and Dayana are the last of Team Forte. Aubrey’s overjoyed at her win for her charity GLSEN. Clay’s devastated to lose Penn, as Penn was a strong player. Dayana knows she’ll have to ...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: Trump Makes Penn Jillette Disappear

4/23/2012 2:30pm EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
Last week on Celebrity Apprentice, the teams were asked to create puppets, and to perform for Brian Henson’s “Stuffed and Unstrung,” a live, improv puppet show aimed at adults. As Project Manager for losing team Unanimous, Paul Teutel Sr. was sent home, while Lisa Lampanelli, PM for Forte, received a check for $20,000.00 for her charity, Gay Mens Health Crisis.

After the Board Room visit, Lisa vowed that she would try to be nice when dealing with Dayana Mendoza, despite their ongoing feud. Arsenio Hall was disappointed that Paul, a successful businessman and engineer, was fired over Teres...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: Puppets Behaving Badly

4/16/2012 7:11pm EDT
Previously, on Celebrity Apprentice: Teresa Giudice’s team Unanimous won the competition for best ‘commercial.’ It was Lou Ferrigno and his 110% effort that left, after a nasty exchange of words with Lisa Lampanelli.

Dayana Mendoza and Lisa returned to the suite after the firing. Clay Aiken took offense to Lisa’s triumphant, “We did it.” Clay wonders about Lisa’s attitude. With only three members left on Team Forte, everyone wonders if someone from Team Unanimous will be sent over to the enemy. Aubrey O’Day hopes that Clay and Arsenio Hall, who have become good friends, will be split up.

'The Celebrity Apprentice' – Paul Brain Schemes And Lou Turns (The Air) Blue

4/9/2012 12:16pm EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
Last week’s double episode cost the teams Debbie Gibson and Dee Snider, and saw Aubrey O’Day walk out after an overwrought Board Room blowout between Aubrey and Arsenio Hall.

The drama continues this week, as we return to the Board Room aftermath. Arsenio, still shaking with anger and emotion, doesn’t know if he could handle Aubrey’s return. Lisa Lampanelli and Penn Jillette, returning from the Board Room, are shocked to hear about Aubrey as well. Lisa thinks the team should be worried – if Aubrey stays away, she feels their team has no chance.

Arsenio explains that he was over the top in...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Recap: Pop Goes Debbie Gibson And Dee Snider While Aubrey O'Day Walks

4/2/2012 9:21pm EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
During an extended three hour episode, I watched the Celebrity Apprentice last night. And I only fell asleep twice! Here’s what happened:

Last week: The teams put together parties to launch a new line of mock tail drinks. The men of Unanimous won the challenge with their beach party, and the women of Forte suffered the loss of Patricia Velasquez, who was fired. Aubrey cried crocodile tears, as she had hoped Dayana Mendoza would be the one to leave. Clay Aiken brought checks worth $50,000.00 to the National Inclusion project.

This week, the teams meet up at Trump Towers with Donald Trump a...

'The Celebrity Apprentice' Recap – Do You Not Like Venezuela?

3/26/2012 5:30pm EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
Last week, on Celebrity Apprentice: The teams were tasked with making a viral video. Unanimous’ male team was led by Lou Ferrigno, and the female Forte team by Tia Carrere. The men’s earlier frustration with Lou was forgotten when Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall pointed out that Penn Jillette’s brainstorming style was not supportive of Lou’s management. Penn suddenly found himself being put forward as a possible target for firing. But the women of Forte weren’t happy either, and Tia, as Project Manager, took responsibility and sacrificed herself for her team when they lost the challenge.

'Celebrity Apprentice' – Lou Gives 120% While Aubrey Gives Tia Career Advice

3/19/2012 5:07pm EDT
Celebrity Apprentice
Last week, on The Celebrity Apprentice, the women’s FORTE team won the challenge, and the men of UNANIMOUS got gut punched when not one, but TWO of their team were fired. Both Adam Carolla, Project Manager, and Michael Andretti hit the road when Trump decreed that Adam’s biggest failing was not showcasing Michael’s brand power in a challenge revolving around cars. Oh, and for not naming names in the boardroom, naughty Adam. But the ladies had a few tussles that may impact the solidarity of their group before too long. Patricia Velasquez interviewed that the ‘back stabbing and lies’ must sto...

'Celebrity Apprentice' Recap – 'Nice Shot, Oswald' - A Lesson Is Taught

3/12/2012 3:57pm EDT
The Celebrity Apprentice
Last week, the teams designed a ‘living window display’ for Ivanka Trump’s new fashion collection. The ladies team, FORTE, won, although the men of UNANIMOUS had a strong display and great branding ideas. George Takei took one for the team, although Lou Ferrigno was once again put forward as a weak link. The men feel that Lou presents himself as a go getter offering 110% when in the Board Room, but when actually working on a challenge, only offers ideas that center around his being the Hulk.

Dayana Mendoza had been Project Manager for FORTE, so she received the $20,000.00 donation for her...
