'Nip/Tuck' Finale Gives Fans Closure

March 4th, 2010 11:24am EST
Nip/Tuck Finale
The controversial and critically acclaimed television show Nip/Tuck ran its final episode on FX Wednesday night, leaving fans feeling bittersweet about the show’s demise. Although most Nip/Tuck viewers will truly miss the series, even the die-hard fan can sense that the storylines had nowhere else to go and now was as good a time as any to send these plastic surgeons off into retirement.

As Nip/Tuck ended with its final chapter of love, lust, and vanity on Wednesday night, there weren’t any earth shattering announcements, over the top surgeries, or that typical Nip/Tuck shock value in this...

January 25th, 2010 1:30pm EST
SAG Awards Fashion
One-shouldered dresses and vibrant crimson gowns dominated the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards this weekend. Mariah Carey, "Mad Men" star Christina Hendricks, and other ladies captivated in red, while celebrities like "30 Rock's" Jane Krakowski and French actress Marion Cotillard were one of the many who opted for the single shoulder look.

Sandra Bullock was named Best Actress for her performance in The Blind Side. She won the same award at last week's Golden Globes. Mo'nique took home Best Supporting Actress for Precious, while Tina Fey and Julianna Margulies claimed...

The Cast of Glee
Have you met the cast of Glee yet? This diverse group of oddballs is not only fun and entertaining but completely contagious. The shows rabid base of viewers has also taken to downloading their songs. Recently their rendition of 'Don't Stop Believin' went gold with over 500,000 downloads for that song alone and now an album "Glee: The Music, Volume 1" is available as well.

Take a minute to meet the cast and tune into FOX Wednesdays 8/7c.

Glee pictures
On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television will release "Glee: The Music, Volume 1", the first in a series of soundtracks that feature music heard in the first season of the critically acclaimed series on FOX. "Glee: The Music, Volume 1" will feature spectacular renditions of several chart-topping hits. You can pre-order the album now at iTunes.

"Glee", the genre-defying new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping ...

'Glee's' Return And Season Premiere Lives Up To The Mass Hype

September 10th, 2009 10:17am EDT
Glee
Four months after "Glee's" one episode preview (and my countless viewings of "Don't Stop Believin'" on YouTube), the show fiiiiiiiiinally returned. Not even President Obama's address to the nation could stop the curtain from coming up (thank you Fox for your low political standards.) And any fears that the show might venture into "High School Musical: The Series" territory were quickly diminished as the kids debuted their wildly inappropriate rendition of Salt-n-Pepa's "Push It."

But let's gleecap. Passionate Spanish teacher/glee coach Will (Matthew J. Morrison) arrives at school (late,...

A Few Must-See TV Shows This Fall (See Clips!)

June 9th, 2009 11:40am EDT
Glee
Last week's TV upfronts brought some re-vamps and a whole lot of raised eyebrows, but never fear, Starpulse.com is here to sort through the soon-to-be-canceled masses and select a few must-see gems.

Melrose Place Reboot

The CW may have angered some Jason Dohring fans by not picking up his political drama for Fall 2009 - instead opting to choose just another revamp to add to the line-up. The new "Melrose Place" may follow the same formula as the new version of Beverly Hills 90210: campy primetime soap relationship drama set in the shiny, pretty people part of Los Angeles. It will fe...

'Glee' Is A Joyride That Just Won't Stop

May 20th, 2009 9:12am EDT
Glee
Cynicism may have a stranglehold on our society, our culture and mostly our television, but one show is ready to unseat it from its throne, and that show is "Glee."

In what Fox billed as a "Special Preview Event", "Glee" debuted last night after the titan of contemptuous glowering, Simon Cowell's "American Idol", with a surge of overwhelming joy not often seen outside of a child's birthday party. This is a show that harkens back to the feel good television of the 50s and 60s with a format that nonetheless seems ahead of its time.

The harried pilot introduced us to Will Schuester ...

'Nip/Tuck' Season Seven Hints

May 19th, 2009 11:05am EDT
Nip-Tuck
While Ryan Murphy was promoting the preview of his new show Glee, I slipped in some Nip/Tuck questions. The last episode left us with Christian married to Liz, but finding out his cancer scare was a clerical error, so he could have been free to manipulate and emotionally abuse superficial women this whole time.

"I will tell you, he goes through a horrifying divorce," Murphy said. "People love those characters. They're so good together so that we kind of have a whole season based on their [dynamic]. The whole season doesn't revolve around it, but it does involve, to a high degree, in th...

'Nip/Tuck' Recap: Allegra Caldarello

February 25th, 2009 2:09pm EST
Nip-Tuck
As "Nip/Tuck" nears the end of its season, loose ends are beginning to come together as the characters are seemingly preparing for Christian's (Julian McMahon) death. But as we all know you can't have "Nip/Tuck" without Christian.

Liz's mother comes to visit to help with wedding preparations and to talk to Christian. She asks him if he's gay, still surprised that her daughter is getting married to a man, and not just any man, a man that "still has his looks."

Liz's mother brings her old wedding dress along and expects Liz (Roma Maffia) to wear it since it's been passed down ...

'Nip/Tuck' Recap: Budi Sabri

February 18th, 2009 9:46am EST
Nip-Tuck
"Nip/Tuck" took an emotional turn in the latest episode, a change from the usual style of the show. A patient covered in warts (resembling tree bark) waits to heal and regain mobility after receiving multiple surgeries. Sean (Dylan Walsh) and Christian (Julian McMahon) worked to remove all of the warts covering the patient's entire body pro bono.

Kimber (Kelly Carlson) brings Jenna into the office to have Christian plump her lips again, but he refuses. However, in the process, Kimber spills to Sean that Christian was the one who injected Jenna's lips with collagen the frist time.
