Melissa Gilbert and former "The West Wing" star Timothy Busfield got married in California on Wednesday. The couple tied the knot on the historic San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara.

A rep confirmed the news to People.com, which published a photo of the happy couple featuring Gilbert in a bright red dress.

This is the third marriage for each of the stars. Gilbert has two children, and Busfield has three. The pair got engaged over Christmas after knowing each other for over 20 years.

Last night, season fourteen of Dancing With The Stars kicked off with a bang. Melissa Gilbert has filed for divorce from her husband of 16 years, five months after trying to salvage her marriage.

The former child actress separated from actor Bruce Boxleitner in March, but days later, took to Facebook to tell fans the couple were trying to work things out.

However, the pair has failed to repair its relationship and Gilbert is going ahead with divorce proceedings.

According to Los Angeles Country Superior Court documents, the actress filed papers on Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences.

She has asked for joint custody of the couple's son Michael.
