From 1983 to 1987, Gibb appeared as teenaged showbiz hopeful Holly Laird on the syndicated TV drama Fame. She essayed the title role in the made-for-TV biopic The_Karen_Carpenter_Story (1987) and was also the recurring character Suzie Martin Wyatt on the enduring daytime drama Search for Tomorrow.
