Watch A Video Montage Of Memorable Oscar Speeches
Over the course of 85 Academy Award presentations, there have been plenty of memorable speeches, one of the most notable being Sally Field declaring, "You like me!" She won her first Oscar in 1980 for her role in "Norma Rae."

Cuba Gooding, Jr. also got super excited after he won Best Supporting Actor for "Jerry Maguire" in 1996. He kept thanking people as the walk-off music began playing, making the speech that much more interesting.

Jack Palance (1992's "City Slickers") demonstrated his fitness ability by doing a one-armed push-up during his acceptance speech.

And Julia Roberts giggled ...

8 Oscar Moments That Moved Us
1. Ben Affleck Arrives At Oscars A Boy, Leaves A Man!

It took fifteen long years for Ben Affleck to recoup highbrow status in Hollywood. After riding high with a win for Best Original Screenplay alongside Matt Damon in 1998 for "Good Will Hunting," Affleck attached himself to a series of box-office bombs. Slowly, Affleck redeemed himself not as an actor but as a screenwriter, and received critical acclaim for his work in 2007's "Gone Baby Gone." He then scored big with 2010's "The Town," which he also co-wrote and starred in. When Affleck attached himself to the George Clooney-produced 20...

Will Anne Hathaway's Performance In 'Les Miserables' Bring Oscar Gold?

February 24th, 2013 6:30pm EST
Les Miserables
One take. That's all it took Anne Hathaway to land both an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress AND cement herself as the favorite to win the award.

Her brief appearance in Tom Hooper's adaptation of Les Miserables was nothing short of epic, nailing her performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" in just one take. Hathaway gives off so much emotion during the scene that it's hard to get through it with a dry eye. Not to mention she's weeping herself throughout the sad song.

So who's she up against?

Only two-time Oscar winner Sally Field, whose portrayal of the batsh*t crazy Mary Todd Linc...

Oscars 2013
Hey Jennifer Lawrence, don't worry if you don't land an Academy Award for your performance in Silver Linings Playbook (you will), because all the nominees who aren't bringing home an Oscar statue this year will get a goodie-bag worth $45,000 as a consolation prize (which will only cost them about $10,000 in taxes to keep).

Gift bags containing all sorts of expensive tchotchkes are nothing new at awards ceremonies like the Oscars, Emmys and Grammys. They started out as a way for companies to get the stars photographed with their wares in exchange for free stuff, ultimately evolving into a p...

Critic's Choice Awards Fashion
On the heels of Wednesday's People's Choice Awards, the stars filled the red carpet at the 18th Annual Critic's Choice Movie Awards on Thursday.

Jennifer Lawrence, who took home the Best Actress In A Comedy award for "Silver Linings Playbook," looked incredible in a black draped Gurung gown with a train.

Also a hit was "Les Miserables" actress Anne Hathaway in a metallic floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown.

Hathaway's co-star Amanda Seyfried didn't impress us so much with her topknot hairstyle and Mario Schwab blue lace dress.

And perhaps Eva Longoria looked better in person, but her Mo...

Sally Field Gained 25 Pounds To Win 'Lincoln' Role

November 12th, 2012 1:53pm EST
Sally Field
Sally Field worked hard to win the role of Mary Todd Lincoln in the Steven Spielberg blockbuster Lincoln, and that dedication didn't end when she was given the role. The actress said she had to gain 25 pounds to look more like the former first lady.

"It was hard; it was very hard," Field told Jay Leno, according to Us Weekly. "It wasn't as much fun as you would think. First of all, it was horrifying because I'm of a certain age, and I kept thinking, 'If I don't do it right, I will drop dead halfway through this, and someone else will get the role!'"

A new Japanese trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has hit the Internet and created buzz in a movie-going community hungry for anything "Spidey."

In the two-minute clip (don't worry; it' in English with Japanese subtitles), an evolving (pun!) relationship is shown between Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans). When it first appears that Connors may have some insight into what Parker's father was studying, he dives in head-first - and ends up creating one of his most deadly adversaries, The Lizard (a mutated Dr. Connors).

Steven Spielberg has decided to halt the release of his upcoming Abraham Lincoln biopic until after the 2012 election, because he doesn't want the movie to be used as "political fodder".

Filming is due to kick off in Virginia this autumn, but Spielberg has now revealed fans won't be able to see the movie until after America goes to the polls for the 2012 presidential election next November .

Sally Field had her acclaimed guest stint on ER. Calista Flockhart will always be the title character from Ally McBeal to many people. Rachel Griffiths previously had a major role on Six Feet Under. 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Teaser Trailer Arrives (Watch It!)

July 20th, 2011 3:37pm EDT
The Amazing Spider-Man
The first teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, has officially arrived - and it looks really good, but also really familiar.

The film, which is still almost a year off, is a re-boot of the Spider-Man franchise that began in 2002 and ended in 2010 when director Sam Raimi and star Tobey Maguire quit over issues with the script of then-planned Spider-Man 4.

So the studio forged ahead with a new telling of the story, which, according to this teaser, is basically the same story we got back in 2002 - only this time there's more focus on Spidey honin...
