Rapper MC Hammer is facing a new set of financial woes - the star allegedly owes more than $600,000 in unpaid taxes.

Actor Chris Tucker has been hit with a demand for $3.5 million in unpaid taxes.

The Rush Hour 3 star had a $3,594,409 tax lien filed against him by California tax officials in Sacramento County Court last month, according to The Detroit News.

He is said to owe the taxes for the years 2001-02 and 2004-07.

Tucker is the latest celebrity to be named and shamed as indebted to the already financially struggling state - Snoop Dogg and Janice Dickinson are also reportedly being chased for unpaid bills.

Spencer Pratt's stint on reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has been thrown into jeopardy, after he failed a medical exam. Show bosses sent The Hills star to a Los Angeles hospital for further tests, after discovering problems with his blood.

Former supermodel Janice Dickinson has become the first celebrity victim of California's new phone-and-driving law.

As of July 1st, motorists in the state were banned from using cell phones while driving. The 53-year-old picked up a ticket on Hollywood's Sunset Boulevard on Tuesday.
