Actress Alana De La Garza was born on June 18, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio, and she moved to El Paso, Texas at the age of nine and started modeling when she was thirteen. She attended the University of Texas, and after college she moved to Orlando, Fla., where she landed a few commercials for Cingular, Amaretto, Dunkin' Donuts and Coors Lite. Alana made her television debut on an episode of "Mortal Kombat: Conquest" and then had a recurring role as Rosa Santos on the daytime drama "All My Children." This led to starring roles as Maria Serrano on "The Mountain," Jesse Gilmore on "The Book of Daniel" and as Marisol Delko on "CSI Miami." Alana also has appeared in music videos Brooks & Dunn's "Ain't Nothing Bout You" and O-Town's "All or Nothing."
