American actress Marisa Coughlan was born on March 17, 1974, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Marisa went to the University of Southern California, where she is a founder of the Trojan Backgammon Society. She began her acting career on the short-lived television series "Weird Science" and "High Society" and went on to a co-starring role in the 1999 movie "Teaching Mrs. Tingle." Marisa later had a starring role in the wacky comedy "Freddie Got Fingered," co-starring Tom Green, and the part of Officer Ursula Hanson in "Super Troopers." She is also known for her recurring role as Melissa Hughes on the TV series "Boston Legal." Marisa lives in Studio City, California, and has two dogs named Hall And Oates.
