The actress currently stars on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, having appeared in over 71 episodes of the show as Ella Montgomery, mother of Aria Montgomery, played by teen star Lucy Hale.

Holly's most notable role was as Piper Halliwell, one of three sister witches on the WB's hit series "Charmed." When the show ended its run in 2006, she was the only cast member who wanted to continue with the show.

Actress Holly Marie Combs has filed for divorce from her husband of seven years.

The Charmed star, who wed David Donoho in 2004, is citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.com.

The couple has three children together - Finley, seven, Riley, five, and two-year-old Kelley. Combs is expected to seek joint custody of the kids.

She was previously married to actor Bryan Travis Smith. That union ended in 2007 after four years.

Rob Thomas (Dawson's Creek, Veronica Mars) is helming a "Beverly Hills, 90210" spinoff, which like the original will revolve around a family with two teenagers who move from the Midwest to Beverly Hills. There's no word on whether any of the original cast will appear.

Aaron Spelling sure knew what the public favored when he launched the original series back in 1990. The show aired until 2000, completing 10 seasons.
