Margaret Cho Ousted On 'Dancing With The Stars'

October 6th, 2010 9:18am EDT
Margaret Cho
Comedienne Margaret Cho was the latest celebrity to be axed from talent show "Dancing With The Stars" on Tuesday night.

Bristol Palin was close to getting the boot after her foxtrot netted her the second-worst score of the night. The show's theme was "Storytelling," but Palin's dance with a homeless man didn't create a tale the judges wanted to read.

Cho said after being eliminated, "I thought the judges were really hard on me, but I think you were hard on me because you could see I am a dancer for real. Thank you for the opportunity to let me dance."

Bristol Palin In Danger Of 'Dancing With The Stars' Elimination After Foxtrot Fail (Video)

October 5th, 2010 4:04pm EDT
Dancing With The Stars Bristol Palin
Bristol Palin is close to getting the boot on Dancing with the Stars after her foxtrot netted her the second-worst score of the night. The show's theme was "Storytelling," but Palin's dance with a homeless man didn't create a tale the judges wanted to read.

Judges criticized her for a lack of emotion during the dance - Bruno Tonioli wailed "You're not Meryl Streep...yet!" Perhaps the only bright spot of the night for her was the fact that Margaret Cho scored an 18 in comparison to Bristol's 19.

So now it is in the voters' hands. Will they keep Bristol in? If they do, will she become a ...

Horrible Jive Dancer Michael Bolton Kicked Off 'Dancing With The Stars'

September 29th, 2010 8:15am EDT
Michael Bolton
Michael Bolton was the second celebrity to be kicked off "Dancing With The Stars" this season (David Hasselhoff was booted last week). The singer's low scores practically guaranteed he wouldn't be returning to do another two step.

On Monday night, judge Bruno Tonioli claimed Bolton performed "the worst jive ever." He added that Rin Tin Tin would have done a better dance. Bolton scored a 12 out of 30, the worst jive in history of the series.

The crooner didn't take the criticism lying down. He thought the judge's remarks were "inappropriate and disrespectful."

'Bachelor Pad' Recap: The Crying Game (Plus The New 'DWTS' Cast)

August 31st, 2010 4:55pm EDT
Bachelor Pad
Gia’s gone, Wes and Dave are fighting, and Natalie is still holding onto her rose when a box of clipboards comes to the house. On said clipboards are surveys that want to know what everyone honestly thinks about the rest of their housemates. So basically, this week’s competition will involve the kind of psychologically damaging cruelty usually reserved for 12-year-olds at sleep away camps and slumber parties. Given that last week’s “Bachelor Pad” featured the nastiest Spin the Bottle (sans bottle) game ever, this latest episode of protracted adolescent humiliation is par for the course. Let...

So, who's going to win this year? Let's break down the chances for each contestant.

Audrina Patridge: Audrina is most likely going to be the star that shows the most skin this season. While it will help her with the male audience, she will need to show she has dancing chops to get in the top 5.

Brandy: Brandy has been out of the public's spotlight for a long time, but don't count her...

Margaret Cho: Tune Into 'Drop Dead Diva' & Avoid Skin Cancer

May 24th, 2010 1:04pm EDT
Margaret Cho
At a recent Lifeime network Q&A, Margaret Cho talked about the upcoming second season of "Drop Dead Diva," including guest stars she'd like to have and how she balances stand-up comedy with being on a TV show.

Why should viewers tune in during the summer?

"Melanoma. You don't want to be getting skin cancer if you're outside, and the sun is not good for us anymore." Cho said. "So it's much better to sit in front of your TV, it's like so much healthier for you than being out where there's holes in the ozone. It's dangerous outside. The sun's rays are just murderous and so you do best av...

'The Cho Show': Korean of the Year: Episode 1 Recap

August 22nd, 2008 11:21am EDT
Margaret Cho
The late 11pm start time for the first episode of "The Cho Show" on VH1 seemed to me to be an exciting harbinger of edgy, wickedly profane comedy to come. It all started promisingly enough: Comedienne extraordinaire Margaret Cho opened her new reality series with hard rock, a funny bit about Jack Black and his only towel (you had to be there) and a flash of her va-jay-jay - suitable and desired for a late-night crowd. Then something truly unexpected happened: Margaret became mundane.

The usually outrageous Cho is not only restrained in this series opener, she's downright neutered. Her ...
