Actress/MTV VJ Susie Castillo was born on January 6, 1980, in Methuen, Massachusetts, but was raised in Lawrence, Mass. By age sixteen Susie was a professional teen model and had appeared in magazines and commercials. In 1998, she won Miss Massachusetts Teen USA, and she also won the Clariol Herbal Essence Award later the same year. Susie graduated from Methuen High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Endicott College. In November 2002, she won Miss Massachusetts and went on to win Miss USA, being the first winner of Puerto Rican descent. After her stint as Miss USA, Susie went on to guest star on the TV shows "My Wife and Kids" and "Half & Half" and landed a hosting job on MTV's "TRL." In her free time, Susie enjoys playing golf, Poker and traveling anywhere warm. She also volunteers for HAWC (Help for Abused Women and Children).
