Actress Sharon Case is best known for her roles on daytime television, starring on CBS soap opera The Young And The Restless since 1994.

Born on February 9, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, Sharon began ballet and jazz dancing at an early age. After her family moved to Chatsworth, California, she began modeling and at the age of 17 she went overseas to work in Japan before landing her first TV role, as Dawn Winthrop on General Hospital. She inherited the role from Kim Valentine, and played the part from 1989-90.

Sharon guest starred on such shows as "Doogie Howser, M.D.," Beverly Hills 90210 and Cheers before returning to soaps, this time landing a one-year part on As The World Turns before being cast on "The Young And The Restless."

She's been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award five times: twice for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series and three times for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, winning the award once in 1999 in the latter category.

Sharon launched her own jewelry line, "POMP," in 2010.
