Jay Leno
Jay Leno has filmed his last ever episode of 'The Tonight Show'.
The TV host wrapped filming on the chat show last night after over 20 years at its helm last night (02.06.14) and fought back tears as he thanked viewers for their loyalty.
He said towards the end of the show: "Boy this is the hard part ... The first year of this show I lost my mom; the second year I lost my dad. Then my brother died and after that I was pretty much out of family.
"The folks here became my family. When people say to me, 'Hey, why don't you go to ABC, why don't you go to Fox?' - [but] I didn't know anybody ove...

Classic TV Comedy Icons: Where Are They Now?

January 28th, 2011 11:16am EST
Hot In Cleveland
In the season premiere of TV Land’s ‘Hot in Cleveland,’ Betty White’s character, Elka, found herself in jail. A slim cell mate who called her “fresh meat” turned around and turned out to be none other than Mary Tyler Moore. The cameo was more a wink at the two icons’ history together, with the characters noting it had been 33 years since they’d seen each other – exactly as long as it had been since Moore and White worked together on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show.’

This sequence made me wonder – what are all the iconic TV actors from the glory days up to? Aside from this cameo, Moore re-eme...

It’s a Glee wedding – Finn’s Mom and Kurt’s Dad. Sue and Herself. Quinn and Sam. Within the first few minutes all three “couples” are flirting with the idea of putting a ring on it.

Meanwhile, Kurt’s bully is continuing to terrorize him and there’s nothing Principal Sue can do…. Except change her nickname for Kurt from “Lady” to “Porcelain.” Rachel however, is not comfortable with that course of action and rallies the Glee girls to sic their football boyfriends on Karofsky. The only one absent from the unsuccessful beat down is Finn. NOT COOL.

In other NOT COOL news, Sue’s absentee, Nazi...

2009 Primetime Emmy Awards Mega Diary

Neil Patrick Harris
Ah, the Emmys. The one Awards show on TV that has a nonchalant attitude toward its honorees and the medium it seeks to honor. A ceremony that seeks to put on a funny show, not blow smoke up the behinds of the many winners mostly seem like they'd rather not be there.

Sure, the last couple years were awful, but this year we have the inimitable Neil Patrick Harris at the helm, and with the possibility that this may be Emmy's final year on broadcast television, they're certain to pull out all the stops and ratchet up the funny.

And with that stellar introduction, here is the 2009 Primet...

I've always felt a companionship with Alexis Bledel due to her seven season stint as Rory Gilmore on the sorely missed "Gilmore Girls." I often imagined myself strolling through the Stars Hollow gazebo with Rory and her oh-so-cool mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham) before settling in for a night on their couch, rambling off sarcastic pop culture references at about 912 words a minute.

Now with the release of her new movie "Post Grad" Alexis and I have even more to bond over. I'm in the same situation as her character Ryden Malby, who is a recent college grad who failed to secure her dream job ...

One of the most famous formulas is the one for Coca-Cola. Do you know one of the best things about that formula? It's a secret. Why, oh why, can't movie formulas be secret? You know what a good formula is? The one that creates the eleven herbs and spices of Kentucky Fried Chicken (fine, it's technically a recipe, a point's trying to be made here). It's not finger lickin' good for no reason, mind you. You know what a bad formula is? Ambitious girl with longtime platonic guy friend is too caught up with her own career and her hunky foreign neighbor -- with prerequisite mid-film montages of ha...

People who inhabit the Taurus sign (April 20-May 20) have a great work ethic and are reliable, honest, and determined. They don't take any unnecessary risks and are not easily distracted. In other words, they're taskmasters.

Take Cher, for example. She's been working since she was 17 - that's 45 years in the business and one heck of a work ethic. Although she "officially retired" following her 2005 farewell tour, she is contracted to perform over 200 shows over the next three years.
