The Annual Oscars Nominee Luncheon Was A Star-Studded Affair - S
A slew of celebrities attended the 86th Annual Oscars Nominee Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday.

Fashion Fails: Kate Bosworth, Emma Watson, Marisa Tomei, More

1/19/2014 6:03pm EST
Marissa Tomei
It's Fashion Fail Time! That means we take a break from letting you know how good all of your favorite stars look to show the other side of fashion: the fails!

Marisa Tomei wore this mustard, green, and scallop-patterned dress to the “Journey of a Dress” premiere. Let’s hope the next stop on the journey is the incinerator.

Lady Victoria Hervey wore this questionable cut-out dress. No, we don’t know who she is, either.

Kate Bosworth donned this ugly, glittery mess with odd folds going around her waist and a fan slapped on her shoulder.

We don’t think this fashion will catch o...

Sandra Bullock Drops F-bomb During Hilarious Critics' Choice Awards Acceptance Speech

1/17/2014 5:05pm EST
Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock had the censors scrambling during Thursday night's Critics' Choice Awards when she droped an F-bomb during her acceptance speech for Best Actress in an Action Movie.

"I would first like to thank Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude van Damme for teaching me everything I know," she said while accepting the award for her role in "Gravity."

"It's not easy doing what we do, people. It's not easy."

When she started talking again a technical glitch occurred with the sound, and as a prerecorded announcer's voice began booming the sound was quickly cut and she could be see...

Alfonso Cuaron Wanted To Give Sandra Bullock Herpes And Other Memorable Quotes From The Golden Globes

1/13/2014 8:50pm EST
Sandra Bullock Golden Globes
Sunday night's Golden Globe awards ceremony was full of hilarious and memorable one-liners from the show's hosts, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, along with award presenters and recipients.

One of the funnier moments came when Alfonso Cuaron accepted the Best Director award for his film Gravity, during which he thanked Sandra Bullock for not quitting the film when he told her he was going to give her an STD.

"Sandra, you are the most amazing collaborator," Cuaron said, "I want to thank you for not quitting when you thought that I had told you, 'Sandra, I am going to give you herpes,' when I rea...

Amy Poehler
Tons of celebrities strutted their stuff at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood on Sunday night. And despite a little mishap involving a broken sewage pipe, the stars were able to show off their fancy dresses without a hitch.

Amy Poehler, who took home a trophy for "Best Actress in a TV Series (Comedy)" for "Parks and Recreation," and her Golden Globes co-host Tina Fey made a stunning pair on the red carpet.

Poehler dazzled in a floor-length black Stella McCartney dress while Fey looked darling in a strapless rose patterned Carolina Herrera gown. These funny girls definitely ...

The Best & Worst Dressed At The 2014 People's Choice Awards

1/9/2014 8:38am EST
Sandra Bullock
The awards season is kicking into high gear, and several stars stepped out for the 40th Annual People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

Triple winner Sandra Bullock looked sweet in a navy blue, white and green floral dress, but she lacked the "wow" factor on the red carpet.

There were several actresses that stunned, including Jessica Alba, who wore a strapless bandage-type dress with a zipper down the center. Va va voom!

Then there was Malin Akerman, who wore an odd cleavage-baring dress that left us scratching our heads.

Check out the "Best Dressed" stars of the night ...

Celebrities That Turn 50 In 2014

1/2/2014 11:00am EST
Sandra Bullock
Welcome to day two of 2014! Looking back in time 50 years ago, the year was 1964. Major events of that year included President Johnson being re-elected by a landslide over Barry Goldwater. The investigation of John F. Kennedy's assassination by the Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the killing of the President. In the civil rights movement, three workers were murdered in Mississippi during the "Freedom Summer," and Anchorage, Alaska was hit by a massive earthquake.

In pop culture, Beatlemania had officially hit North America and on February 9 of that year, s...

SAG Award Nominees Named: '12 Years A Slave' Tops Nods (Full List)

12/11/2013 11:14am EST
12 Years a Slave
Some people were surprised by The Butler’s presence here, but I don’t see any surprises from them. Movies like Gravity and Her (which are frontrunners for a Best Picture nomination) aren’t large cast films, and wouldn’t get the Ensemble nomination over The Butler. The big surprise is Dallas Buyers Club, which is a relatively small cast, and did manage an Ensemble nomination. That could go a long way in getting DBC to a Best Picture nomination. Also, Daniel Bruhl is back in the race with a Supporting Actor nomination for Rush.

Kudos to the SAG members for nominating James Gandolfini for E...

Lamar Odom
You can't go one week without hearing a ridiculous story involving some of your favorite celebrities. Thankfully, the Starpulse Rumor Patrol is here to sort out what's real and what's fake.

Lamar Odom Raps About Infidelity: It's been rumored for some time that Lamar has been unfaithful to wife Khloe Kardashian and has been using cocaine. So it's gotta be false that there's a video floating around with Lamar rapping about sleeping around, right?

Verdict: True. The video exists and even worse, he might be high in it. Odom slurs through lyrics in the grainy footage, which includes the line "...

Although scrutinizing the worst dressed stars is ultimately more fun, recognizing the stylish celebs of the week is also entertaining.

On Wednesday, Natalie Portman attended two premieres of her upcoming film "Thor: The Dark World." As usual, she showed off her fabulous sense of style at both the London and Los Angeles events.

At the California premiere (above), she looked lovely in a sheer, floral black dress with strappy gold sandals. She wore her hair straight, showing off her new ombre locks.

Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock showed off her rapping skills during a trip to Britain to promote new film "Gravity".

During an appearance on "The Jonathan Ross Show", the actress revealed that she and co-star George Clooney would often find themselves trying to make fun of director Alfonso Cuaron's Spanish accent, but when that didn't work out, they would goof off by breaking out the Sugarhill Gang's classic hit, "Rapper's Delight".

"We were either making fun of our director... who's a wonderful man from Mexico and we attempted the accent but it turned out a little Cuban... or we would rap off to an old ...

'Gravity' Is The Best Cinematic Experiences In Years

10/8/2013 3:11pm EDT
In case you’ve been away from life, you might not know that Gravity has been lauded by critics as not just the best movie of the year, but one of the best cinematic experiences in years. I think that second point is more important, because Gravity does something truly unique. It provides a film so intensely cinematic, that you really do need to see it on the largest screen possible. Waiting for home video is just not an option here. Torrenting the film and watching it on your computer? Well, you’re an asshole.

Gravity tells the story of two astronauts, Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock), the rook...

Review: 'Gravity' Is A Visual Masterpiece With Brilliant Acting

10/4/2013 1:06pm EDT
There are a few things that really scare me. Being buried alive is one, as well as being locked in a room with snakes and rats. But after watching the brilliant heart stopping thriller 'Gravity,' I can now say being stranded in space is on the list.

'Gravity' is directed by Alfonso Curaron ('Children of Men'), who co-wrote the script with his son Jonas. This film is not only breathtaking but ground breaking. When I left the theatre, I definitely felt that I'd been to deep space - that's how amazing the visual effects are. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what it's like in space, th...

Sandra Bullock Says No To 'The Heat' Sequel

10/2/2013 4:07pm EDT
The Heat
Sandra Bullock has revealed that she doesn't think she will work on a possible sequel to her surprised comedy hit The Heat, in part because of her previous track record with sequels.

The R-rated comedy, also starring Melissa McCarthy, made over $220 million worldwide against a $43 million budget. The breakout hit immediately generated buzz of a sequel.

However, Bullock recently told Entertainment Weekly, "I know they say never say never, but right now, I can’t imagine it. I don’t want to ruin what Melissa and I had. If a miracle happens where [a script] shows up that really and truly outd...

10/2/2013 2:00pm EDT
Last night's premiere of "Gravity" in New York City was a star-studded event. Celebs including George Clooney and Sandra Bullock posed for photographers and fans at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

British actress Emma Watson opted for a short, white off-the-shoulder dress, while Katie Holmes was pretty in pink.

9/9/2013 11:00am EDT
Reese Witherspoon
The Toronoto International Film Festival (TIFF) has turned into a hot spot for celebrities over the last few years, and 2013 has been no exception.

We spotted several stars promoting their new films, including Reese Witherspoon who attended the "Devil's Knot" premiere over the weekend.

The actress, 36, looked sexy in a black and beige patterened dress that showed off a little cleavage. She's definitely back in shape after giving birth to her third child one year ago.

Witherspoon's new film is based on an Arkansas case in which three children were savagely murdered in 1993 and the three t...

8/28/2013 8:52pm EDT
Sandra Bullock & George Clooney
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney made an attractive, albeit platonic, pair at the start of the Venice Film Festival today. But wouldn't it be awesome if they started dating? Clooney recently split with Stacy Keibler, and as far as we know Bullock is single.

According to the National Enquirer, the actress, 49, is ready to start dating again and is revamping her look. A source claims: "She'll be trying out sleek new designs that will celebrate her curves, plus she's likely to experiment with some bold new hairstyles. Sandra is ready to move forward with a new chapter in her life."

Following a slight comparison to Cast Away, director Alfonso Cuaron told MTV, "The difference with 'Cast Away' is that 'Cast Away' -- which I love -- is a drama. Here, the tone is more of su...

Review: 'The Heat' Is Far From Hot

6/28/2013 1:00pm EDT
'The Heat'
On paper this film must have sounded like a great idea.

A super uptight, friendless, socially awkward FBI Agent has to partner with a foul mouth, crass Boston cop in order to bring down a vicious drug lord. Add Oscar winner Sandra Bullock and Academy Award nominee Melissa McCarthy to the mix, plus director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids), and you have a perfect female "buddy flick."

What could possibly go wrong?

Well, in the case of "The Heat," written by first-time screenwriter Katie Dippold, a great deal went wrong - mainly the film, which is a comedy that just isn't funny.

Not funny enough t...

CinemaCon: Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy Have Fun At 'The Heat' Photocall

4/19/2013 8:41am EDT
Sandra Bullock & Melissa McCarthy
We spotted Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy acting very chummy at "The Heat" photocall at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Thursday. The duo was at CinemaCon for a 20th Century Fox press conference to promote their upcoming film.

Sandra looked sophisticated in black pants and an asymmetrical black and white sleeveless blouse, while Melissa wore black pants, a black sweater and silver sequined blouse.

The film centers on uptight and straight-laced, FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock), who is a methodical and arrogant investigator. Boston P.D. officer Shannon Mullins...

85th Academy Awards Fashion: The Best & Worst

2/25/2013 8:54am EST
85th Academy Awards Fashion: The Best & Worst
The biggest event of the year in Hollywood took place on Sunday night - The 85th Annual Academy Awards - and the stars primped and preened for their red carpet appearances.

There weren't any major fashion flubs (and admit it, that's one of the reasons you tuned in to watch!) but there were a few style missteps. For example, usually a "best" list regular, Halle Berry looked a little too space age in a black and silver heavily striped Versace gown.

Kristen Stewart also disappointed in a Remm Acra lace dress that didn't do much for her skin tone nor her figure.

Conversely, Jennifer Aniston'...

Sandra Bullock's Wax Figure Is Unveiled - And It's Good

1/25/2013 8:54am EST
Sandra Bullock
Madame Tussauds Las Vegas revealed its newest wax figure on Thursday, and they did a pretty good job. The Sandra Bullock sculpture shares a reasonable likeness with the real thing.

The fake Sandra is dressed in a red, knee-length dress with her signature brown hair tossed over her shoulder. She wears black pumps and carries a gold clutch. Her crimson lips match her gown.

Bullock won an Academy Award for Best Actress in "The Blind Side." She stars in the upcoming film "Gravity" opposite George Clooney about astronauts who are stranded on a space station after a disastrous accident wipes ou...
