Darien, CT, native Alexandra_Breckenridge (also frequently billed as Alex_Breckenridge) took an interest in the stage as a youngster and moved to Southern California to pursue acting during early adolescence. Breckenridge's initial assignments largely consisted of guest roles on programs including Freaks and Geeks and Dawson's_Creek, though she branched out into feature work in 1999 (at the age of 17) with a turn in the independently produced comedy Locust Valley, and thereafter alternated between additional acting work in Hollywood features and contributions to high-profile network series. Feature projects included the family-friendly showbiz comedy Big_Fat_Liar (2002) and the gender-bending Amanda_Bynes farce She's the Man (2006), while additional television contributions included guest spots on Family_Guy and Charmed and an ongoing role as celebrity tabloid journalist Willa McPherson on the Courteney_Cox-headlined satirical drama Dirt (2007).
